According to Dutch papers, Bendtner is close to signing at Lisbon. They would be willing to pay 10 million euro for him :o

To improve your dutch, for you to communicate with our manager, our star player and me

(jue)

No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

Mr Fulham

Sporting chairman Barbosa has denied that. They held talks, but they're not able to meet Bendtners wage demands. Wages in Portugal are ridiculously low, it has to be said.

Combine that with Bendtner's demands being riculously high and I don't see this happening.

Incidentally, wages in Portugal are probably more what they should be elsewhere. Way too high in the UK, Spain, Germany etc.

It seems that Nicklas Bendtner Arsenal's exit may be to Portugals Sporting Lisbon.. The 23-year-old Danish striker was out of favour with coach Wenger reports the Dutch magazine Voetbal International.

Bendtner was recently coach Wenger not stop training. Which gives preference to the front and newcomer Robin Van Persie Gervinho (former Beveren).

Reported that Bendtner could be allowed to leave the London club for ten million Euro. This is fine for Sporting Lisbon, which transfer to a famous forward is in progress. If the attacker gets the Dane, the Portuguese then realize their fourteenth transfer. It has had all the Bulgarian Valeri Bojinov and Dutchman Ricky Van Wolfswinkel to strengthen the offensive line. Bendtner is currently earning about 50k/week.

He was reportedly asking for about 35k/week, but Sporting's salary cap is 25/30k.

For £9m and £35k a week, that is really not a bad price to pay for a premier league proven striker and eventual full time successor to Bobby
