MOR :

From the BBC website...

"Fulham sealed their progress when Brede Hangeland was fouled by Velimir Vidic in the box and Danny Murphy slotted home the resulting penalty".

I think there's a slight difference in the size of Hangeland to Johnson...where do they get their reporters from...shocking!!!

It was the same in the Metro too. Apparently AJ has grown 9 inches and become Norweigan.
Youngest ever member. Just saying.

Exactly right - at least the Beeb managed to name another Fulham player as the one fouled !! That's a step up from their usual level of accuracy !!  :wine:  :yay:

#### BREAKING NEWS #####

BBC Read Friends of Fulham Forum to get accuracy in reporting.

Looks like they changed it : now it reads ...
"Fulham are through to the Europa League play-off round with a 2-0 win over Croatians RNK Split at Craven Cottage.

The Cottagers had struggled in last week's away leg but largely dominated on home turf and took the lead through Andrew Johnson's header from a corner.

Fulham sealed their progress when Johnson was fouled by Velimir Vidic in the box and Danny Murphy slotted home the resulting penalty.

Johnson thought he had added a third soon after but was ruled offside.

The victory maintains Fulham's unbeaten record during this qualifying campaign, during which they have yet to concede a goal at home in three matches."

...shades of very tall blond Hangeland getting a red card against Roma when the much shorter dark haired Kelly was the perpetrator according to the 5th (6th etc.,) official. Abysmal reporting Auntie...

This is bound to happen if they don't put the names of the players on the shirts. Numbers aren't good enough. Names on their shirts also help referees when they are taking names. You can't expect journalists and referees to know about football - that is not why they are there  090.gif
