Fulham have been compared to Belgium!

Small, well ran and in no great danger.

Prediction - 9th place.

Burt

John Aizlewood's predictions are as follows:

1. Man Utd
2. Man City
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. Liverpool
6. Spurs
7. Everton
8. Stoke
9. Fulham
10. Sunderland
11. WBA
12. Villa
13. Norwich
14. Bolton
15. Newcastle
16. Wolves
17. Wigan
18. Swansea
19. QPR
20. Blackburn

Burt

And the country comparisons:

1. Man Utd - USA, the biggest and best, but they don't want to default on that debt, oh no
2. Man City - Liechtenstein, its all about the money
3. Chelsea - Saudi Arabia, effective, wealthy but not exactly a democracy
4. Arsenal - France, full of style and grace, but you wouldn't want them alongside you in the trenches
5. Liverpool - China, not short of personnel, looking for a bright new future
6. Spurs - Canada, undeniably huge but not a major player
7. Everton - Iran, a combustiable mix of lack of hope and simmering discontent
8. Stoke - East Germany, not cuddly and you wouldn't want to fight them
9. Fulham - Belgium, small, well ran and in no great danger
10. Sunderland - Finland, on the edge of things
11. WBA - the Netherlands, they keep a low profile but are well liked
12. Villa - South Korea, with North Korea's Kim Jong-il as president
13. Norwich - New Zealand, out of the way, but that's no reason why they can't compete
14. Bolton - Greece, if we close our eyes, the debt will go away, won't it
15. Newcastle - Albania, chaotic, confused and unpredictable
16. Wolves - Brazil, more stable than they used to be
17. Wigan - Namibia, a success against all the odds
18. Swansea - South Sudan, everything feels new and optimistic despite the difficult road ahead
19. QPR - Somalia - ungovernable
20. Blackburn - Guatemala, everybody has heard of them but nobody outside their borders cares

Since when it Belgium small?

Great comparison though, apart from the "well ran" bit. I truly hope Fulham is better managed than Belgium.

In fact, does anything in the description stand the test?
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

Perhaps it meant small in stature Mr. S

Even more shocking, in two ways:

Belgium has a good international reputation
Fulham is the oldest club in London!

The piece also said that AJ was the weak link. Think that's right, he doesn't score enough and reduces Zamora's effectiveness.
