MARTIN Jol has beaten the transfer deadline to sign striker Orlando Sa.

The 23-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Craven Cottage following a short spell with Porto.

He told the official site: "This is an enormous opportunity for me and I'm looking forward to joining the team and entering the next phase of my development.

"It's a wonderful challenge for me and I'm keen to bring my qualities to Fulham and the Premier League."

The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Lighthouse

He is over six foot so  could be a proper BZ Back up.

Or perhaps being taller then the ball he'll get the nod over AJ.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Just checked him out on football manager for a vague idea of what he does and he'll definitely be a back up for Bobby.

In the game he was signed by Sampdoria and currently has 13 goals from 17 games!

Select stats:
Finishing 15/20
Heading 14/20
Jumping 14/20
Strength 17/20
Off the Ball 16/20

So according to that he's not bad at all, but obviously that doesn't mean much.

Hello! Football Manager is not real

Burt

He's been in their international set-up so he can't be too shabby.

Of course its not real, but it at least gives us a vague idea of what type of striker he is. I'm not actually expecting the 13 goals in 17  :005:

I'll counter your confidence with the words "Collins" and "John"

Clearly the guy had potential but for whatever reason it hasn't been realised. Hopefully he'll put that right with us but there'll be reasons why he regressed.

It's likely that he was quite low down on our wish list and was kept in reserve as someone we could sign. He doesn't seem to have been in demand therefore.

Burt

That said, there's not much on Youtube and most of what there is comes from 2 years ago.

Hmmmm...

Oh well.

Welcome to the club Mr Sa sir, I hope that you are able to realize your potential rather than follow down the path of Collins John...

looks useful in the air, nice control (shot with him playing in blue and white)  :54:
