Wasn't sure what to believe about Steed's retirement but it seems it is because his four year old son has cancer.

There were also rumours that the reason for Steeeeeeeed retiring was because he fell out with his agent-father and had disagreed with his latest transfer.

If it is down to his son having cancer then that is awful news and I wish him and his family all the best.
