On the Offal there's a thread about likelyhood of a lot of problems at the QPR game and no segregation. I'm abit concerned now as I sit at the Putney end, should I be?  :001:

I think the key phrase here is 'on the offal'.

The police arnt stupid, don't worry.

FatFreddysCat

Without a shadow of doubt they'll definately be loads of trouble.

Against QPR? There may even be trouble in the Riverside stand for that one...  :005:

The tutting will definitely be louder.
"Do not affix anything to this wall" - sign that was affixed to wall above turnstiles at Hammy end before someone with a clipboard replaced it with a large Fire Exit sign.

"the police aren't stupid" .... based on what exactly...
I've already heard that one large group of QPR are planning to do a mass walk from SB down to the Cottage. While the police are escorting them another group will be meeting at Fulham Broadway and coming in from that direction... the Durrell is allegedy on their hit list .. rumour has it some of their faces are mates with some Chelsea who had issues at the Durrell a few seasons back and they are aware thats where a lot of "Fulham" drink.... rumours only at the moment but i wouldn't count that one out ... i'll be fishing that day !! :hook:
we are Fulham stay realistic or be for ever disappointed ...

Isn't the Durrell on 'everyones' lists on derby days?

I just hope that I can get through this derby without being attacked like at Chelsea last November, I'd hate to miss parts of this game too  :53:

The security will be the same as when we play the filth, if you have heard these rumours then so have the Old Bill, Beserker don't be put off going, normally the only trouble is for people who go looking for it.

SHADY1

If the security is the same as against Chelsea they will get caught right out...this is in a different league...

Where is the best place to drink match day? And I'll bring my bat  :028:

Chelsea and QPR mob up?

They better leave the chippy on the Lower Richmond Rd alone else there will be BIG trouble.

FatFreddysCat

Half of Northolt wants to go, but they are panicking about geting tickets. It's safe to say they are right up for us. Must admit i wouldn't fancy being in the Putney end for this one, anyone thinking they wont at least get threatened a bit in there is extremely niave.

NO QPR's boys are mates with a few from Chelsea who kicked off in the Durrell and they have given them the heads up where most the Fulham faces now drink !!

The same Chelsea are planning on drinking in the Durrell again for the cup game though ... so expect it to be shut ..

Regardless of what happens off the pitch, I only hope we give them a good tonking on the pitch! Looking forward to this one.

Considering QPR have played up at Chelsea on their last 2 visits, plotting up in the north end road , kicking off in the norman arms etc i would of thought it was highly unlikely QPR will be joining up with chelsea dont you ?......and dont forgett QPR have surprisingly even had a go at Millwall last season so i expect them to have a big turn out for this one....

ScalleysDad

We will be in the Putterknee End and have no qualms at all. Apart from the sheer arrogance of the Spurs fans there is very little real hassle, West Brom away last year was more fraxious than a typical sesh in P2. I would suggest keeping the qpr contingent in for a minute or two would be a good idea as the exit onto Stevenage Road is'nt fun whem we are all chums together.
If the qpr rabble and chelski are going to hold hands the amble through the park before the Everton game will be fun . . . . literally. I'm going to bring some peanuts and soft centred sweets just in case!

I'm in Croatia :(

Last time we played at the Cottage (many years ago) there was trouble in all areas of the ground (including the Riverside stand).

Fulham had asked for extra policing which was refused (a police budgetting decision based upon there being "no intelligence of any previous history" of trouble between the two clubs!!) and there was also a lot of trouble outside the ground and at Hammersmith Broadway - mainly QPR v Police and the odd shop window.

I expect that there will be some trouble again this time but on a much smaller scale.  Those with any real hstory of this rivalry are probably in their late 40's now and so will be shopping with their wives...

Exiting the Putney end at the end of the game should be interesting as most of the QPR fans will want to turn left towards Hammersmith but the police will try and push them up to Fulham Palace road before allowing them to go left.

Anyone searching out trouble will probably find it in Woodlawn Road...

I would advise that you sit tight at the end of the game, if I was in the Putney end and let the crowds disperse.

Personally I am going to wear some green underpants in anticipation...
