Can't find any direct flights from UK. Anyone had any luck?
Hanover is about 50 miles away.
It's 560 miles about a 9 hour drive from Fulham

Jimpav

Air Berlin fly to Hanover from Stansted.

About 180 Euros mate.

Enjoy.

HammyH3

Cheers
Up to €275 each now with fuel charges etc

CorkCity

Checking flights from Ireland , the cheapest I found was €525

I've seen flights from Luton to Hamburg and Dortmund (wolsburg seems about in the middle) for less than £100 but then there will be trains etc.

FatFreddysCat

Berlin is an hour by train, Hamburg is two hours.

You can fly into Bremen nonstop from Stansted usually really cheap... and its not too far by train from there either.
The Dude abides.

Once my flight is confirmed i'll spill the beans on where i'm going, sorry waiting for my mate to ring back so dont want anyone pushing the prices up before hand  :033:. But have you thought of the overnight boat to Hamburg, i've done it to Hook of Holland and great laugh.

FatFreddysCat

Right here we go. Lufthansa from Heathrow to Hamburg on thursday getting there at 9 something in the morning, coming back saturday at about 1.30 pm . £150. .  2hr train journey, still too wrecked to find out prices , but will let you know, but hopefully some kind soul will have done it beforehand.

FatFreddysCat

I also found Frankfurt for £48, that's 3 hours away by train, sorry forgotten the airline.

Jimpav

Train travel is pretty cheap in Germany Fred. Maybe speak to rail Europe down at Picadilly. They can book trains in advance.

Failing that buy a copy of the Thomas Cook European rail timetable. It's trainspotters porn basically but it literally has times for every train going - slow (cheap) and fast (pricey).

You will have a great time in Hamburg, especially the Reeperbahn ;-)

Hamburg is a great city and the reeperbahn is something else.

It is pretty much Harrods but with whores...So don't bring your significant others...

Anyway, haven't been there in years and last time I walked past a room in a brothel (they like to keep their doors open) and spotted my mate having a go with a someone he was completely naked except for his socks. He always swore that was the best place to keep your money... :011:
If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

Judging by some of sights I have seen there he would have been better to have kept his name chalked on his boots!

Cheers jimpav, i'm still not up to much brain work at the moment, i'll sort it out tgomorrow, did come across a handywebsite something like euro football travel, i'll try and find it as it told how to get to Wolfsburg from Hamburg/ Berlin etc.

FatFreddysCat

Could someone copy and paste something for me please as i'm a div and haven't the foggiest how to do it. It could come in very handy for people getting trains , and also tells you all about pubs etc. Apparantley it's the Sunderland/ Luton of Germany  :56:. If you google trains from Hamburg to Wolfsburg , something comes up from  WWW.Eurofootballcities and has all the info you will need on it. Thanks in advance.
