Are we going to hear Shearer, Hansen and Lineker admit they were wrong as After little ol England beat Sweden having a side swipe at Roy they were all stating Sweden were 'Very average' & 'Really poor' @if we can't beat them we are trouble' after they beat one of the teams they have been fawning over at every opportunity?  Hell will freeze over methinks

Sweden deserved more, methinks. Their coach said it well: "operation successful, patient deceased."

It's their own fault for losing to Ukraine! (or not at least getting a draw out of us, which they'd have deserved).

Nah, we deserved exactly what we got - which sucks as yesterday proved we're capable of doing much better. You can't afford to let two undeserving leads turn into two undeserved losses. Hamrén (the manager) have to take a lot of the blame for the naive team selection in the opening match and the horrible defensive display against both Ukraine and England.

Sweden are not really poor but not great either. In fact there are a lot of poor teams in the tournament. Sweden have some ageing guys who would no longer be able to play in the premier. Also, a midfielder who could not get a place in Southampton 3 years ago.!! Is Baros the best Czech have? He was finished 2 years ago when he went off to major league soccer. Poland looked unfit after an hour of play. Greece and Ireland? Their respective economies must have been on their minds. How did these two qualify? Finally, Ukraine...they peaked about 4 years ago, downhill ever since. Played neat football, but clueless in the final 3rd. Just my thoughts. 092.gif

Explains why Belgium refused to qualify. We did not want to be paired with all these mediocre teams. Below our dignity.

I think the only poor team this tournament has been Ireland, they were in a really tough but Trap's tactics and selection was never good, Ireland fans had been complaining about it long before the euros.
