They halved his salary and he didn't accept 28k a week apparently. If he still has the hunger, he would be a great addition to midfield, plus he knows what to expect from the premier league. Quality player on his day, wages could be an issue but on a free he could be just what we need.

I always rated him, but doubt we could afford the wages. And he's obviously had trouble with injuries.
