Hammersmith and Fulham Council will NOT hear Fulham's planning application on the 10th July. Next possible date is the 25th July.

not great news but as long as it doesn't end up being delayed past christmas or something like that i'm sure it wont affect the potential build date anyway

The club wanted to get the base of the stand (riverside walk) completed for start of season in august. Surely that can't be done now, specially if earliest date for approval is the 25th July.

Any reasons?

We're in a cue behind planning apps that were submitted before us. Apps submitted in jan were just being heard in may, so hopefully we're soon.

Can see construction work being delayed for one season, starting next year instead of this one.

Would make sense, i would take that delay over say.... finding another manager. Nice not having that to worry about this go round

You would never think there was a recession with the construction industry crying out for work would you. Nothing like bureaucracy to make jobs for themselves creating and recycling endless lists to prevent any real work getting done.

I was speaking to a guy who works at the council and he seems
to think everything which will make them money is getting approved. It's not much to go on but I do expect it to be granted soon proberly to late to start this year now

How is this going to make them money? .Bit worried about this although there was a post on TIFF a few months back from someone in the construction business, he said something about Fulham have already been talking to contractors because they fully expect permission to be approved
