However seeing Ruiz, Dempsey and Dembele all on the pitch at once with the eerily telepathic connection like they had during the Arsenal game would be much better.

One of the best American sources there is (Greg Selzer, who nailed the Bradley switch amongst others) already said Roma is not in for Demps.  He's said an Italian club is making inquiries but it's not Roma.

If Roma were actually in for Dempsey, that would mean Fenway Sports Group would essentially be bidding against itself (assuming LFC was also in).

I wonder if it is one of the Milanese clubs?

I think Clint would be a huge hit in Italy, and a club like AC Milan would be perfect for him. If he went to Inter (which I doubt) I would also be happy because they are my Italian team (unfortunately!)

I don't believe they own another big football club. They do own the Boston Red Sox baseball team and Rousch Racing (NASCAR).
