Who would YOU play at left back tomorrow?

JAR
Briggs
Richardson

Jambo

Richardson for me  :028: :028:

JAR. I forgive you your short moment of delusion, Jambo :P
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

CurryForMario

I think Richardson as well - he's not done great so far, but maybe he'll be better at left back?
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

I know I know!! Its a weakness.  I just think that he has been massively out of form and obviously out for a couple of weeks.  Richardson looked good there last week and played well there for Sunderland.

The one that has loked best in training over the last week should play. Only Jol can decide.

i like topics with polls.  gets people involved :plus one:

Matt_Keen

I'm with Jambo.

Richardson's natural position of recent years has been Left Back, nothing to lose and can't really be much worse than Briggs, or Riise's recent performances!

wow, I have just seen the vote. It sort of proves how little people know. Anyone who has seen richardson's lamentable efforts would never start him in such a game, that would be an unnecesarry gamble. JAR is a quality player, maybe he needs a bit of a rest/wake up call that his place is under threat but let Briggs, the younger man have a proper chance to gain some experience. one of the problems we seem to have is the younger players chances are cut short after one mistake. Briggs has the makings of a good player but only if allowed to play. richardson is supposed to be experieinced so should have done much more than he has, a spot on the bench for him.

Burt

Gone with Briggs.

JAR's career is reaching it's natural conclusion, whereas Briggs's career is on the launchpad. Time to show some faith in him, to see whehter he can make the grade or not. He won't get the experience if he doesn't get matches under his belt.

JackyFulham90

Shows what a tough decision Jol has with the poll being so close

you say we can't take such a risk in such a big game by playing the experienced Richardson but at the same time you say play Briggs to gain some experience...... in such a big game??

I also just want to take you up on your "shows how little people know" comment, its a poll, its football, we have very different ideas on the game.  It wasn't long ago you were calling Ruiz all the names..... its just your opinion.
