Rumours coming out that we have completed a deal (yes, I'm shocked too) for a 22 year old Korean LB called Yoon Suk-Young. Currently plays in Korea for Chunnam Dragons.

Apparently wanted by Milan and Tottenham in the recent past.

seriously? that can't be a real name. Imagine the abuse

Hahahaha!

PSV points offer from Fulham for unwanted Manolev off
Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 20:30
Stanislav Manolev is not in the plans for Dick Advocaat and wants to leave as soon as possible at PSV . His agent Mino Raiola tries to accommodate the right back at Fulham , but so far it does not appear that Manolev to the club of Martin Jol will go. Fulham want the Bulgarian International ie rent, while PSV he only wants to sell.

According to Voetbal International , the Eindhoven Fulham have rejected a proposal. PSV goes for a final farewell to the 27-year-old fullback, who until mid-2014 under contract. The ransom demanded is half million and yet there is no club has been found who is willing to apply this amount on the table.
Manolev is currently in his fourth season at PSV, that the right back in the summer of 2009 took over from Litex Lovech. The 29-time international played under Lawyer only two league matches this season, but possibly the counter next Saturday to three. Atiba Hutchinson on the training suffered a leg injury and his availability for the away match at Heracles Almelo is questionable.

SS running the story about the Korean left-back. There's no mention of us - only QPR.

Its either lazy journalism or QPR are actually after everyone but I just don't care anymore, the window system is ridiculous.

Newcastle have signed Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa on a 5 and a half year deal with a fee of around 6.7m.

A very good signing for the toon and it looks like their going to be busy over the next couple of days with Gouffran and Sissoko likely to follow.

EJL

Another irritating transfer. We have centre back issues at the moment with Hangeland not signing a new contract, Senderos not looking fantastic and Hughes getting on a bit; why not go for Yanga-Mbiwa?

Yes, £7 million is a lot of money to a club like Fulham, but he could have been sold on in three years time for triple that.

Oh well. Kieron Dyer on a Bosman. I can sense it, guys.

Rennes have said that a new offer has come from England this morning. Didnt say who from, only that it wasnt QPR or Newcastle

Rubin still favourites

I'd be beyond happy if it was us.

I think Spurs maybe. Weren't they chasing a CM recently who they couldn't afford? Especially with Sandro out. If this is the case, maybe Huddlestone to FFC could be back on.

I wondered about that.

Jol didn't deny the Huddlestone rumours like he has most others but Spurs clearly won't sell without a Sandro replacement.

M'Villa will end at QPR, my Rangers mate is ridiculously confident & optimistic

#facepalm

Rennes just squeezing even more out them, around 9 mill will be final price

Apart from the fact a bid has been accepted and it wasn't from QPR and the evidence was from Rennes themselves and not from a mate, currently I'd say its unlikely. However you could be right but it would seem strange with recent comments.

JackyFulham90

From the 28th onwards will be busy for transfers, I think we will bring in 2 players probably a right back to replace Kelly & a centre midfielder

Andy_M

I heard M'Villa isn't exactly the type of player you want in your dressing room anyway. So to be honest as good a player as he may be I'm kinda glad he's not heading our way. Who wants a destructive influence in the dressing room? Sure to upset Berba too from what I've heard/read about him
@got_maile

Ordar

I mentioned Yanga-Mbiwa in a transfer thread back in December. I think we've really missed out on one there.

I dunno why Jol just doesnt take my advice on transfers...

Stekelenberg, M'Vila and Douglas please Martin...

Count Berbatov

This thread is fun. Although linked with half the players available out there sounds ridicules, I think the manager does indeed inquire for most of those. After all, Fulham are in dire need in every position on the field.
But even just bringing one or two new faces will have a positive effect on the team. Ala Berbatov

Now that's just mean. ;)
Seriously though, it absolutely was. Now, he gets the blame for everything that went wrong with Fulham. I understand, he doesn't perform at 100% all the time, but who is? Especially, with so many average players around him. Frustrating to watch, let alone play with. Let me ask you. Have you ever seen him have a go at Ruiz? Or Riise, or Duff? Or Karagounis? But most of the rest are just an absolute mood killer, depressing to have around at times... My guess is, honeymoon period is over, he woke up in the morning and surprise surprise, she ain't that pretty.
