To Burnley, according to Swedish reporter Daniel Krisstofferson:

"AVSLÖJAR: Alexander Kacaniklic lånas ut från Fulham till Burnley i The Championship. Mer info på SportExpressen.se inom kort."

Probably makes sense if true, given Urby is around.

Burt

If he isn't going to get the game time here then this makes sense.

Shame he can't go back to Watford on loan but Burnley are a good club and he will get game time

A bit of Fulham success at Turf Moor is long overdue  :drums:

So we should keep him firmly on the bench just to lower our age?

No, we should play him instead of trying to find pitch time for over 30s who won't be here after the summer.

So what it's far more important for KACA to be playing!

So you'd rather play him despite the fact that he is still very inexperienced and leave out Duff who despite being over 30 is still a valuable member of the team?

Urby would be my 1st choice left sided player.....

You really need to keep up with the news, Ms. Hairnet. Duff signed a contract extension and WILL be here next season.

And you Mr Hatter need to take a reality check and realise that players over 30 who may or may not be leaving in the Summer are important to have in the team as they have experience and anyway apart from Duffers who over 30 who is currently in our midfield is keeping Kaca out of the side bearing in mind he palys wide and not in the centre?

Don't see the problem.

Playing for Burnley at best gives him playing time and gets him match fit for us whilst demonstrating that he should be playing in our first team.

Or maybe it demonstrates that he still has a way to go to be good enough for us.

I like him and think he's done well but not well enough to start ahead of Duff or Dejagah. He might just become a very good player but he needs to sharpen the defensive side of his game and go looking for the ball more rather than wait to receive it.

Sad to see him have to be loaned out again after this start in the Prem this season but it is clear that Mick and Duff are first choice and are really finding form... Kaca will get games at turf moor and that is a good thing for him...
Just score 3+ goals a game and we will gain promotion...I promise

Personally I don't think he's good enough for us, if we want to push on for a top ten place. He has pace but rarely beats his man, he can't cross and he leaves the full back exposed by not tracking back. I think he's scored twice (Norwich and WBA?) so he's not prolific either.

I think his level is bottom half of the Prem/top half of the Championship so the loan makes sense.

We have Duff, Urby, Dejagah and Richardson who I rate above Kaca.

Average age of the squad is totally irrelevant if the team is playing well*

Playing off of ibrahimovic and berbatov semi-regularly has got to be a dream for any young attacking player.

he's got a lot of potential and its already paying off, to some degree. 3 goals; arsenal, west brom and norwich. the goals against arsenal and norwich in particular were extraordinary.

Fits the attacking style of play jol favors, compatible with berbatov/ ruiz/ dejagah. but doesn't play enough defense, probably. 1-1.5 more season phasing in as duff phases out seems ideal if we can keep him around.
