The Doctor

No way am I taking off my shoes on a freezing cold day by the Thames.  Knowing my mates, one of them would lob them on the pitch then the thick stewards would refuse to return them and all sorts of ridiculousness would ensue

I'll pass on this one thanks

Berserker

Well football fans in Scotland do it and wave them at the opposition, this is because shoe waving is an insult in a lot if cultures.

I believe shoe throwing is an even greater insult.  I'm waiting for someone to suggest that, after waving them, they should be hurled at Big Phil.   086.gif

This against QPR could be a laugh, both fans will get involved

By both do you mean the 2 that think its a good idea

sipwell

It is very offensive in Muslim cultures (the shoe touches the ground) but I don't really see the point. Are you expecting QPR fans are literate enough to understand the reference?
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

Yes...  i never stand up when told to..  it proves nothing...  so  i may wave a shoe to show how stupid the whole  stand up sit down thing is..

Will sandals do?

You must be mad!  Or are you waiting until the start of next season?
