But there's nowt wrong with his brain

Erm... he chose to go to Blackburn.  Even if it wasn't a shambles of a club it's in Blackburn, no sane man would chose to go there :P

Holders

This would be a good outcome.

Sounds like his wife would like him to return too, based on her many, many tweets

Artful Dodger

Get him back on the first train out of Blackburn in the morning! Just wait until he walks back out on to the pitch at CC in whatever capacity as a Fulham man again. There's only 1 Danny Murphy!!

Yeah we want him back. Has anybody tweeted his wife that yet?

Bring it on home.   He's a gentleman that the club should employ should he be done playing.

Could only benefit us.Danny is an honest and intelligent bloke.
I bet if someone asks him who his team was, after he retires. He would say Fulham.

Maybe to us but not in Liverpool.

I agree with Mr Gilroy, Liverpool has to be at the top of Danny's list!

I guess he always would say that while he's under contract with Blackburn

What does the club (or Jol) gain by having Murphy at the club as a coach?

The U21's & U18's have full coaching setups and are doing well.

Jol would have a recent past player and fans fav working in the background at the club.
Any sense that Jol was failing next season and sections of the crowd would start mentioning DM as a possible replacement. How easy would it be for the club to then hand over to DM and keep the fans happy if Jol was given the boot?

Really?

What manaegerial success has Papa S had then?

Or are you talking in 5 years time?

Bassey the warrior

I can't see Jol supporting this, it would be like the Dalglish scenario. Having Murphy in the background will be unsettling for Jol.
