why would you have black stripes on the shirt then red on the shorts and socks?

I was under the impression the full reveal of the kit was today :/

i thoughtt it was the 5th, along with the sponsor. The sponsors logo is red i believe, thats if the Marathon Bet rumours are true

I popped into the club shop on saturday and was told that the kit was going to be revealed on Thursday and then go on sale on the 11th.

I think a lot will care if it doesn't have black shorts.

I want to see it out of curiosity, the reason being is since our last time with Adidas they have changed their outlook, now they supply templates to pretty much every one, so am interested to see what we get home and away. I personally don't care as long as It is not a template which is supplied to a championship club.

Like West Ham, Sunderland has got a non-template. If both our home and away are team-wear templates, I'd be disappointed.

All adidas kits seem to have the three stripes flowing down the length of the arms.
Why were we the exception in 2001-03. I remember them being nice crisp clean shirts minus the sponsor and the little three stripes on the edge of the sleeve.
