I remember watching him in hong kong for our "soccer 7's" tournament at the club I played at. He was head an shoulders above everyone.

Not sure if it was someone at the club or his agent, but no US fan ever called him that or are even aware of the nickname since he was never considered to be anything more than a solid player for the national team. He maximized his ability and was quite successful in the Championship at the level that matched his talent.

Collins John (still only 28) should be in his prime and in a top league, but had to look him up to see he is playing in the Polish 2nd Division.
