You may still be able to use NBC Sports Live Extra to stream the match live.

TWC isn't on board with that, either. It's not listed as one of the options for which to enter your credentials when you attempt to 'Watch Now'.

NBC Sports Extra Time channel finder is now live:

http://www.nbcsports.com/extratime

They have a link to the app there as well. Didn't work for me because I think my cable provider is still getting it sorted out.
Thank you!  Been wondering when they would get this info out.  I stand by my original recommendation to watch at a sports bar with other soccer fans, though.

Would love to but 7 a.m. is too early for the bar. Caught the season opener in Seattle during vacation last year though. That was a great time. Most of the bar was packed with Liverpool fans, save for a few Fulham fans in a side room. We gave a good cheer every time we scored. "4-0 in here, how are you guys doing??" I'd yell, while they were moaning about losing to WBA (I believe).

CincyFulham1

It's going to be streamed on the NBC website.

Texas White

what am I missing, when I put in my zip and TWC it says channel 1106.

CincyFulham1

Just checked and in my area it says that the channel is 9466, I didn't know I had that many channels.  I thought that they would be streaming the matches on the NBC website.  I looked at the the live streams on Monday and it showed our match as being streamed live.

Extra Time channels still aren't showing up for TWC in Columbus, OH.

Starting to think I'm screwed for tomorrow morning.

Don't give up just yet, still might find a link posted to a stream closer to the start of the match.

Now i have to ask, do you support the Crew?

Can't figure out anything except a username and password is needed for live extra. Says call provider, in which case I will get some numbskull who asks me "what is soccer?"

How do I get it on my computer? Any ideas anyone???  Help. 1500.gif

Khan You Dig It

Yeah, I support the Crew, but Fulham is my first club.

Khan You Dig It

By the way, if anyone has a Live Extra log-in/password that they could share for this weekend, I would be eternally grateful.

Getting rid of TWC this morning. They straight up lied to me about Extra Time being available in my area.

Thankfully, Fulham is on the main NBC Sports channels for the next two weeks.

I'm having a tough time figuring out TWC's system for this, figured I'd post this support chat email transcript I just endured:

[10:22:17 AM] Bert > Thank you for contacting Time Warner Cable. At the end of our chat you will be given the option of taking a brief survey. My name is Bert. Please give me a moment while I access your account.
[10:23:28 AM] Bert > I will be glad to assist you with the information and will check the same for you.
[10:23:29 AM] Bert > Thank you for waiting. I appreciate your patience.

[10:23:39 AM] Ward > No problem.
[10:24:04 AM] Bert > I understand your concern.
[10:27:39 AM] Bert > I am checking this information for you.
[10:29:41 AM] Bert > We have a special department to handle this issue .
[10:29:41 AM] Bert > I will be glad to guide you to the right support.

[10:29:50 AM] Bert > Please wait, while I transfer this chat to the right department.
[10:30:01 AM] Bert > Please wait, while the problem is escalated to another analyst
[10:30:15 AM] Sarah R. > Hello, please give me a moment to read over the previous Chat.
[10:32:26 AM] Sarah R. > NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app is what you are referring to, correct?
[10:33:01 AM] Ward > I would like to know the answers to two questions:
[10:33:44 AM] Ward > 1. Is TWC yet allowing subscribers access to the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app?
[10:35:23 AM] Sarah R. > We do not currently offer the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app.
[10:36:23 AM] Ward > 2. Will all Barclay's Premier League games for 2013/2014 be aired over cable, and if so, on which channels (numbers) for me specifically, and is there some method by which I could see which games will air on which channels?
[10:40:12 AM] Sarah R. > Yes, if you have the Soccer networks. We have the TWC Sports Pass that holds Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer Plus.
[10:43:01 AM] Sarah R. > The Fox Soccer channel is available out of the Pass on channel 318 and 1318 on all packages, as well.
[10:44:30 AM] Sarah R. > Are you still there? This chat will close automatically after two minutes of inactivity.
[10:44:44 AM] Ward > Fox Soccer and Plus won't carry Premier League games this year. The Premier League cut a major deal with NBC to air all the games over NBC Sports Network, it was kind of a major news item when it occurred. I'm asking if, since the Live Extra app which would otherwise carry the games not covered on the main NBC Sports Network channel is not available, there are other channels set up to carry the other games broadcast by NBC Sports Network that aren't on their main NBCSN channel (1323, I think). Yes, I'm still here.
[10:51:08 AM] Sarah R. > According to NBC, the matches will air on NBC(4), NBC Sports Network (323, 1323), and Telemundo(803). The championship matches next year will be held on NBCUniversal/World (358).
[10:53:49 AM] Ward > Ok. Thanks. I'd like to cancel service. Can you connect me to whomever handles that?
[10:54:29 AM] Sarah R. > Unfortunately, Account Services does not operate through Chat. You will need to contact them via phone at 8668920019.
[10:55:30 AM] Sarah R. > Do you have any further questions or concerns for me today?
[10:55:55 AM] Ward > Nope. Thanks.
[10:56:02 AM] Sarah R. > Thank you for contacting Time Warner Cable via chat. Have a wonderful day!

So. I don't know if that means we'll only have the game that's on NBCSN, but that's what it sounds like. Then again, this lady appeared to think that Fox Soccer was still carrying the PL.

Please just trust me when I tell you this... That customer service rep along with just about every other rep has no clue...

You will get all the matches if you have TWC and get the NBC Sports Network currently with your package... There will be sub channels that show up in your guide on the day of matches... unfortunately nobody has been able to figure out what those channel numbers will be yet but they will be there... I can promise you with 100% certainty.

http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/08/08/time-warner-adds-premier-league-extra-time-but-no-go-on-nbc-sports-live-extra/

Your sources didn't give you good information. Only the NBC Sports channel is available, no extra channels. NBC sports network's web site confirms this when I input my provider and zip code.
Just for fun, I put in a zip code for Manhattan (I live in Dayton, OH) to see what happened and sure enough Time Warner subscribers there do get to watch the match. I was told that is a different division and the SW OH division isn't carrying it. No further explanation. They did put in a channel request, so that looks like that is about all you can do at this point. I would say if you are a TW subscriber to call them and complain and put in the request.

brixology

As an update for the Verizon set, the game finder site tells me that most of the 10:00 AM Eastern matches are only on the web (no extra channels, apparently).  But I was able to get the NBC Sports Live app for free on my iPhone, so that's the plan for me.  I think that app should be available to anyone, regardless of cable company.  Try that, Khan You Dig It, etc.

If anyone finds the extra channels on Verizon, I'm going to keep checking back.

DJinNJ

My understanding is that streaming is available for Verizon but they will not have the overflow channels. I sent an e-mail to customer service and they say they they won't have it:

"According to our records, the Premier League Extra Time from NBC sports will not be available on  any of the Fios networks at this time."

I understand that customer service might be clueless, but there's also a long thread on their forum complaining about not having it. The company hasn't bothered to correct everyone there, and if they were offering it presumably someone would have figured it out by now. It's also not listed as having the TV package in the following link (which, by the way, may have some additional useful information for users of other providers):

http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/08/15/where-to-find-premier-league-extra-time-on-your-cable-or-satellite-system/

Here's the key paragraphs listing providers that will have the TV package... I think this doesn't necessarily mean that the channels will be available today to all customers of these providers, but they should be eventually:

"DirecTV, Bright House Networks, Cablevision's Optimum and AT&T Uverse are the TV providers who have revealed where their Premier League Extra Time channels will reside. [If you have one of these, follow the link to find what the channels are]

"The other TV providers who will offer the service haven't communicated where soccer fans can find those overflow channels. Those TV providers are Comcast's Xfinity TV, Cox, Mediacom, Suddenlink, and Time Warner Cable. Additionally, over 100 NCTC partners have either signed-on to the Premier League Extra Time package or have opted-in via TV Everywhere, including Blue Ridge Communications, Buckeye CableSystem, CenturyLink Prism, and RCN."

CincyFulham1

OK, I went to the NBC website and clicked on live streams.  It shows the only match available  the moment is the Scouse match.  Clicked to watch it and told me to sign in and I clicked on the screen and it took me to a page that told me to pick my service provider.  Picked Dish Network and it loaded.  I am going to assume I will just have to do the same for our match.

CincyFulham1

WTF is the difference between Premier League Extra Time and NBC Sports Live Extra.  This is BS put the matches back on FOX Soccer,  NBC sucks big hairy......

OHfulhamfan

WOW, Time Warner won't even let you stream it. Unbelievable!

Khan You Dig It

Unfortunately, Time Warner is the ONLY major cable provider not giving its subscribers access to the Live Extra online/app.

So again, if anyone has access and they're not using it (maybe you're watching the match on TV instead), I would really appreciate it.

It's not NBC's fault. They're doing an amazing job. It's Time Warner and any of the other cable providers that have decided to be stubborn.
