I feel really bad for taking Kasami out but can't find anywhere to Kasami in. What would you guys say the chances of Bent starting are? From watching Jol's press conference it sounded like Bent will be on the bench as when he says "He (Bent) will be on the bench tomorrow... or start, I will have to make the decision" he seems to hesitate. I would love to see him start as I feel we really do need pace upfront and he could be the perfect player to latch onto a dodgy back pass or a long ball and slip it into the back of the net. Whatever team is picked I will be behind Jol and I'm not expecting a win I just hope we put in a good performance and show signs of great Football.

According to The Guardian 'squad sheets' Riise, Kasami, Parker and Taarabt will start, with Bent on the bench, but I don't know  how meaningful this is.

I do think Parker will start, and maybe Kasami and Taarabt because of last week, but who knows? Will Ruiz be on the bench after everyone here saying that Jol will never leave him out? I wouldn't be surprised, but then again, he had one of his best games for us at Arsenal last year.

Good to have so many options anyway.

Make no mistake, this will be a hard game to get something out of.

Duff must provide cover for Riise as Arsenal will attack mainly through the middle and the right wing;
I think Dejagah should start - he must be fit already;
Parker may start as Boateng looked very nervous against Sunderland;
Kasami will be on the bench - he was just a replacement last week;
Ruiz is fit and fresh, plus he was awesome last time against Arsenal - if he does not start today, I really doubt he will ever start from now on (unless Berbatov is injured, of course);
I think Taarabt will go in for Duff and Bent for Ruiz in the second half.

The first 20 minutes will be oh so important.  If we can keep them from scoring early, I like our chances.  Arsenal players have self-doubt, I think, after the opener and all the press that followed.  Their defense is suspect.  Push up!

Agree we should have Duff left midfield to play in front of Riise (bit slow) or Briggs (not a great defender!). Taarabt or Kaca will leave us exposed and if Walcott is on his day, it could hurt us. Would like to see Bent and Berbatov up front with Dejagah on the right. Ruiz or Taarabt can come on if we need a goal and something different.

Second half bring on Bent and Ruiz. I think Ruiz will be far more effective with Bent playing as it gives him an outlet for his through balls.
