A good 2 week break couldn't of come at a better time. After this window, touching wood no other player gets injured, we will have Stek, Parker and Dejagah back. They should all go back into the team. I also hope Berbatov, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Hangeland are injured. Berba offeres nothing to the team, and Hangeland needs to be dropped. 2 of our worst players this season. Compare them to Kasami and Riether, clearly our best players. The amount they offer to the team in comparison is huge. Against Palace, I would go for this:

Parker is a starter, and Boateng was superb against Stoke. We might as well change a few things, it's only Palace.

The fact is Sidwell, Hangeland & Berbatov will start at Palace
Jol talked up Dejagah after the match so maybe he will feature.
We have to start Bent as Berbatov doesn't play upfront,  if he wants to play Berbatov he needs to drop Ruiz as only 1 can play the 10 role. Realistic team & 1 I would be fairly happy with

Ok, I'd go with your suggestion.  Basically it's Duff going, to accommodate Parker. Not like for like but with Ruiz and Kasami squeezing or wide, I'll admit that your line up looks the part.

Boateng shields the central defence and can be an additional central defender.

I can't believe so many of you believe that Stekelenberg should just walk back into the XI. Stockdale has done a very good job. Our defensive problems aren't down to him. We lead the league in shots against. That's not something a GK can control.

His inability to catch a ball is worrying.

I would keep Stockdale, no reason for him to be dropped based on his performances.

Steklenberg is a better goalkeeper but he should not just walk in, even more so as Steklenberg appears to be made of chocolate and could easily get injured again.

Stockdale is useless from crosses, and his handling isn't great. Stek is our best GK, and when fit, will play.

If Stockdale flapped anymore , I swear he would take off, Stekelenburg is our Number 1 and walks into the team when fit, end of.
