He played with that swagger that we were all expecting at the start of the season. Injuries and more than likely, bad man-management of him by Jol prevented us from seeing this, but he fully delivered yesterday against top-draw opposition.

I'd have him in the team all day long if he continues playing like this.

he took quite a while to switch on but when he did, wow. he could be a real star for us, but he worries me like boa and clint, he needs to make sure he remembers it is a teamm game like the first goal and not i am a schoolkid watch me do my tricks before losing it and then run round with my arms in the air.

for what it's worth i would give him a few games and let's see what he can do.

Would love to see him play where Karagounis has been.

This would be my team of choice (when Dempsey and Hangeland are around)

Stek (although if he doesnt improve soon, put Stockdale back in)
Riether Hangeland Senderos Riise
Parker Sidwell
Dejagah Taarabt Dempsey
Berbatov

If we're gonna go down, let it be in style.
with Dempsey and taarabt in the team, berba would never get the ball. and they would end up wasting shots from the halfway line trying to out do each other

It takes shots to score goals.  If Demps and Taarabt have sufficient eggs to have a go when others don't, then more power to them, I say.

Have enough shots, they will go in at some piont and its better then just passing the ball only to give it away before shooting by overplaying the ball has we have done up til the last 4 games.

We've just recently endured a run of games where the number of shots (not shots on goal) could be counted on an individual hand. How anyone can complain about Taarabt or Dempsey having the stones to take shots from anything other than a gilt edged opportunity is beyond me.

For me this aversion to taking "a risk" was a sypmtom of our "sickness" under Jol.

Let the shots (within reason) fly, I say. They may be low percentage shots, but they often result in rebounds which do present higher percentage opportunities.

with weather like it was on Saturday I would be encouraging shots from any angle, very difficult conditions for goalkeepers
