Taarabt was brilliant yesterday, he deserves to keep his place against Norwich but our most talented player Dimitar Berbatov will be back against Norwich, will be interesting to see what happens,  can he fit them both in the team?

                           Stekelenburg(needs to improve & fast)
Riether      Hughes     Amorebieta            Riise
             Karagounis Parker Sidwell
Dejagah                   Berbatov                  Taarabt

A risk I know but Taarabt can beat players & we must beat Norwich Thursday

@jolslover

Agree, I think thats our best lineup

Blimey, you didn't mention Boateng!

Can't see Taraabt starting on the left, wouldn't work with Riise.

I have to admit I do like Boateng but in fairness our midfield 3 have been superb since Rene took over which is why Rene is manager & I'm a supporter :-)

Taarabt might well come in for Karagounis, depending what the Berbatov situation is.

Wow in that line up that would be a risk!

Anyone know if what Rene's thinking on Ruiz is?

Possibly, it could also show our attacking intent.

Kaca and Dejagah on either side, Taraabt behind Berbatov, Parker and Sidwell holding.

The options of Kasami, Dempsey and Bent are a nice dilemma to have.

Finally some competition for places.

I think Berbertov will leave in Jan

Personally, I can't see what Richardson did to lose his shot at playing on the left next match. He provides far more defense in midfield and showed that he can be dangerous from that position. We were very successful pushing down that side vs Man City.

What I would enjoy seeing is Berba starting up top and being subbed by Taarabt late if we're needing a goal.

I'm also looking for ward to seeing Kasami in central midfield. Difficult for me to believe that Karagounis will be able to go his usual 60' effectively on Thursday after going, what?, 75' on Saturday.

I think we will see Dempsey replace Karagounis in the midfield 3

I think he will be playing in the left where Richardson was on Sat and where you would like Taarbat .
But not until West Ham earliest

I didn't think Dempsey could play until January 1st, due to the squad list given to the FA

I don't think RM has any problems with selection. He picks the right team for the day. He appears not to worry about egos, and just picks the right team for the tactics he wants to use that day. this is something MJ couldn't see, because he was set on his system and would not budge. In otherwords play like this or be dropped

My line-up @ Norwich:
---------------------Stekelenburg---------------------
-Riether-------Senderos---Hughes------------Riise-
------------------Parker-----Sidwell------------------
-Dejagah-------------Taarabt------------Kacaniklic-
-----------------------Berbatov-----------------------

Bench:
Stockdale, Amorebieta, Karagounis, Duff, Ruiz, Kasami, Bent

I just can't see Karagounis playing 3 games in one week, which is why he is a sub.

Count Berbatov

I think, we'll see a surprise Richardson start as a left winger again in one of those coming up
Berbatov has Cantona's knack of being the man amid a stampede towards the door who stops to notice a side exit that nobody else has seen.

If Kara only does light training, and rests up between games, then he may be able start every game. He's a fit bloke.

RM has given himself some selection problems now - which is a good thing, shows how well everyone is performing.

Count Berbatov

For the love of God, do not take Karagounis out, unless not fit. He's more important to you than any other player currently on the team
