One Martin Thomas

Great news as long as he hasn't brought the Birmingham City bug with him.

I believe their squad has been hit with a sickness bug !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll have a couple of thousand of extra bodies hoping Burn gets named in the squad and then steps onto the pitch tomorrow as we (Darlington) will benefit from a clause to the tune of £75k if he plays. You've no idea how much that money will mean now we're thrashing about in the 8th Tier on the bones of our backsides, could be make or break this season. Also it's good to see Stocky back in the side though I'm not sure we benefit any more from his appearances. Good luck to Burn and Fulham, I hope he makes a CB position his own for the rest of the season and a wildcard for the world cup squad lol (yeah maybe not this time round)

That's good to know. I'm going tomorrow so look forward to seeing him 'live'. A real shame just how far Darlo have fallen. £75k is pretty-much loose change in the Premier League!
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

I think we can safely say he'll definitely be in the squad tomorrow at least, just checked the offal and they have given him a squad number of 33..

Cheers, you're right what's that, one player's weekly wage for you?  that's 3 times the annual playing budget for some clubs in step 4, crazy. I first saw Burn play in the Darlo youth team against Billingham Synthonia reserves, must of been just 4 years ago, he looked the part then, He's kicked on since then at every level he's been pitched at, fair play to the lad, I'm sure he won't disappoint for you.

As I type I've just heard he's NOT in your squad for tomorrow according to BBC sport, that's unexpected if true

I would've thought that given the fact he's been recalled and given a squad number rather hastily that he will at least be in the squad. Besides, I wouldn't necessarily trust the BBC's provisional squads as they've included Bettinelli who isn't even with us as he's gone back on loan to Accrington.

I hope you're right, this doesn't happen often to minnows like us seeing someone coming through the ranks and making it to the top, if not now I'm sure he will soon enough. We're all proud as hell up here in the NE, BTW Do you need a skillful attacking midfielder who specialises in stunning 30 yarders? you can have Stephen Thompson off us  for £100K  He comes off 12 hr factory nightshifts and bangs them in for us  ha ha, doubt he'll be at this level for long

As long as he doesn't get pushed off the ball like Ruiz, we'll take him.

From what i have  heard from my Birmingham supporting mate, we are welcome to him, according to him very error prone.

Burn got dropped by Clark for one game, but has played every game since. If he was not on form or made continious errors he would be dropped.

Lets face it Burn cannot be any worse than what we currently have.

Yeovil ranted and raved about him, and has probably been one of brums best players this season. Watch brum struggle now and them fans to realise he was a big part of their team

For that reason alone I hope he starts!

That must be why almost every Birmingham fan on twitter were hoping we all burned in hell for taking him back

This is not made up by me, my mate who is a season ticket holder for many years at Brum said it, but then i guess we say the same sort of thing about some of our players don't we.
