We simply cannot continue to go with Senderos and Amorebieta at the back.  Yes I know Hangelands due back soon but theres no guarantee he wont break down or take few games to find his best.  The back four has got to be strengthened.  What are the coaching staff going to do to turn Senderoaf around?  Theyve had three years to turn him into a half decent defender.  We need to get real and piss him off and find a real defender.  I would rather see Dan Burn play if we don't spend.

The third goal against Citeh and yesterday both came when we had committed numbers forward lost possession in their box and exposed our defence to the counter and the 'goal' went through the gk (Stek and Stockdale).

Now is that coaching or headless chickens on the pitch?  I don't know

"What are the coaching staff going to do to turn Senderoaf around?"

Presumably one of those turntable things they use for freight trains.

The back four aren't good enough.  Simple. Its an absolute joke that Senderos is still in our squad.  And Amorebieta  had been well and truly exposed as championship at best.  Riise can't go up against anyone of quality.  Nobody can sort this mess out without a big cheque book.

Bingo. Rene can only do so much.

What has changed is we actually look to shoot. What hasn't changed is when we pick a side with no pace. The comments before the game on the match thread were clear and it turned out that way. But Jol made us a side that didn't even try and score. We now are a side that still leaves huge gaps at the back. The players are the same but the overall play is better. But far fro good enough. Jol was partly the reason, along with lack of investment we deserve to go down.

I am scratching my head as to why Duff is starting games, Dejagah has impressed me greatly under Rene. Riise to be fair has done well in most games. I'm yet to see the game but there's an argument to be made that Richardson perhaps should've played in front of Riise so they could double up against Johnson.
