Fight between P1 & P2

Did anybody see the fight towards the end of the match at the bottom P1 & P2? The stewards had trouble controlling it. Then they started fighting on the stairs near me

Next season I think I am going to get a membership so that I can sit in a home area at matches,  fed up with away fans causing trouble in P2 where I sit. Also I 've decided that is probably why I like away matches so much, it's the togetherness of being sat with Fulham fans

Supporters are very frustrated right now. I'm surprised there haven't been more fights at home matches this season.

I would not want any part of that so I would move if I were you!

Berserker

I left in about the 85 minute in case there was any other trouble at the end of the match

I say we need another bally forward on.
How dare you say such a thing you rotter
Take that back all I shall give you what for
Oh will you indeed, well we will soon see about that
We will you swine
Right that does it.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

Unfortunately, I don't think you will have any problems getting tickets wherever you like next season. I suspect our numbers will be dropping slightly.

There was some kind of incident involving stewards  at the back of H block JH stand , soon after they scored so imagine it was the usual occurrence of away fans in the home area again.

They escorted what I assune were 4 Saints fans out for their own safety.  I bumped into them on the concourse & they were pleading their case to be let back in.  Quite funny hearing how unreasonable they felt the security managers stance was - perhaps next time they should sit on their hands when their team scores?

Thought that what it was, we have had until today 4 seats of away fans in J block but finally the club have seemed to have stopped it, they are corporate seats they said, what in J block?

I've just got back and have to say Saints fans have been a pain the backside all day and I always thought they were a more mellow bunch. The punch up at the bottom of P2 was a small group of saints fans refusing to sit down, refusing to move and then getting really arsy with the female senior steward. Not a copper in sight throughout the whole thing and eventually a couple of burly stewards wandered down soon followed by a couple more. I could not believe the outright hostility of a couple of the oiks being ejected. Alas the 'big we are' stuff carried on under the putney bridge tunnel, clapham junction and waterloo. Worse than all of that the Bricklayers was packed with saints fans at 1pm ................... good grief.
The policy towards P1 and P2 has to change as there is a big punch up brewing and more than likely it won't involve Fulham fans at all.

I saw you about to leave Mrs B and thought I'd see Derek out and do you know what .................... I was told to sit down and had to explain myself by the saints mob along from you. I was absolutely fuming and although the oldest of the group apologised when he saw you leaving I had a moment. As has been said probably plenty of places next season.

In the JH (H Block) The lads got annoyed with a celebrating saint,
the weedy stewarts tried to do that hiding trick they do
but the lads were having none of it ..............he had to goooooooooo

Should we go down will the Putney End go 100% away? I wonder if the Championship is as broad minded as the PL towards mixed stands.

Not only have we lost the battle on the pitch, we've managed to lose it off it as well. The Brickmakers being taken over by Saints fans? I've heard it all now.

Sums up my day really. Very often there are away fans drifting in and out and most of the time the banter is very good. Just an edge there yesterday and as Sarah said a full house of saints from about 12.15. I'll have to start leaving around 6am to get there in time for a quiet nerve settler if this carries on. Mind you with over 200 quid spent on Swansea and yesterday and nothing but angst to show for it I have a mountain of brownie points to recoup. In a way its lucky the Man U game went to late Sunday as I was all set to go on the Saturday.

My £100 days out at Fulham stopped away to Chelsea. Tried to convince myself once again at home to Swanea and Sunderland, but not any more. To put it simply, if they can't be assed, then neither can I and don't think I will for the remainder of this season. I'm not quite sure what's happened to this club, but it's certainly not the one I used to love and ador, even back in the early 80's.

Fulham has become the must do away game for all teams.  Easy access, decent pubs, friendly locals, standing during the match & leave with 3 points - perfect.

Whilst the security managers did a good job calming the incidents yesterday, I can't understand why they don't have at least a couple of police officers in sight just in case needed.

Burt

The sad thing was that there was even a bit of a set-to in the Hammersmith End just behind me, and this was between Fulham fans!

I would like to think most people assumed a proper copper or two would not be needed as neither side had much of a reputation. We had plenty around us for the Man U game and they were quite active even dragging my guest out, 53 and a life in admin, after an allegation he head butted someone from a large group of away fans. Have to say that had the boys from the Met waded into the P2 spat it would have turned nasty. The culprits were way past the point of reasoning ........................... so well done the security team.

Exactly what we were talking about after the game...

Apparently some Saints 'fans' set off a flare in the Railway before the match! Something has changed as last season I recall them as one of the set of supporters where the 'banter' and behaviour was good natured.
