The initial foul was outside the box.

Doesn't matter, was probably still a red card and even at 1-0 I couldn't see Cardiff coming back with 10 men.

PokerMatt

Fulham, Cardiff, Norwich then.

That's how it's looked for a while.

Need to start parying for Hull to beat Aston Villa, with Man City as their last game, we can drag them down and step on them to get out.

Phil Dowd, horrible official. Talks to players with utter contempt.Foul two yards outside box. No complaints about the red card, but a penalty, no way. Hope he's embarrassed when he sees that, but somehow I don't think he will be.

Macedo

I said earlier Sunderland will stay up.
Villa are doomed cant buy a win and fans on the players and
Managers backs.
Cardiff n Norwch are doomed also.
If we win last 2 we stay up..Coyw..

PokerMatt

Villa will be fine even if they lose to Hull. Can't see Cardiff, us or Norwich getting even to 35.

Never a penalty. Ref played advantage and Wickham played on, his fault if he doesn't make use of it. Red card correct though
@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

Putney

Fair decision.

He was fouled outside of the box and fouled inside.

Macedo

If we had only held on yesterday, no matter what the result today,
we would have gone to Stoke out of the bottom 3..
Would have worked for the confidence, but we can still do it.
Coyw..

Blanco

Regardless of this result we still need 2 wins to stay up. Not gonna happen.

Let's see if Sunderland will mess it up when it's in their hands, just like we did. I doubt it though, it'll be another justifying situation that confirms this is our year to go.

You must earn an absolute fortune being the clairvoyent that you are, you never know we may do just that, unlikely i agree but not definite.
Story of my life
"I was looking back to see if she was looking back to see if i was looking back at her"
Sadly she wasn't

Wingnut

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Barrie

Gotta say, that looks like that for us now.  Sunderland look a very good bet to escape now at our expense.

Nero

cant believe connor wickham who could hit a cows arse with a banjo has now started banging them in

Lighthouse

Cardiff and Norwich below us. Surely we can still catch Villa.

Yes there will be people saying this soon.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

15 West Brom  35 -12 36
16 Aston Villa  35 -17 35
17 Sunderland  35 -20 32
18 Norwich  36 -32 32
19 Fulham  36 -42 31

to have any hope we need to win the next 2 and get to 37, only other hope is when Sunderland go to utd they get beat and beat badly knock the stuffing out of them

I would dispute the red card aswell.

You get a red card for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Wickham was given advantage to go on to score after being pulled back.
Therefore he still ha a goal scoring opportunity.

So it cannot have been a denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Probably the worst bit of reff'ing I've seen all season.
