Afraid I am going to catch the later 265 bus Ed so I will be there to the end and hope that its not bitter.
Season ticket bought and paid for and looking forward to next season.

I was there at our first game back in the premiership and will also be at our last (for a while). As to whether I stay to applaud, that depends on:

a) if there is a lap of honour
b) whether this is a fair sprinkling of younger players included.

If it's just the same team as has played most of this year then I'll leave when the final whistle blows.

I hope the fans will be singing I Love You Fulham though we have gone down it certainly would show the club and players that we support them through think and thin! :-)

I remember a similar situation back in the second division. We had to win at Watford to stay up in the penultimate game of the season, and the club laid on coaches and many of us went, and we lost 0-4.

I was there for that. This was in the Campbell Out era. My abiding memory from this match, apart from how appalling we were, was getting struck by a coin thrown by some Watford oik in the other half of the stand, despite there being wire mesh between the two halves.

It's not a lap of honour, it will just be to thank the fans for their sustainability in an decreasing circle of events.

Our performance that day at Watford was about as abject as that at Stoke last Saturday.

...@ Terry, my post was slightly tongue in cheek, I will stay up to when the 90 minutes is up, and I'll applaud if we play well, but I won't stay behind and clap a team, the majority of whom relegated us.

As I can't direct applause to certain individuals that deserve it. I will not applaud at all - importantly though - neither will I boo, especially as the players usually parade their children.

Shame we won't share the 265 back, but another time, maybe over a cup of tea and a chat, and although we strongly disagreed about Jol you are always very welcome to pop over always a pleasure.. :008:
