We obviously need goals, so these 3 please
Jordan Rhodes
Ross McCormack
Robert Snodgrass

Added with a few bits of creativity, so these 4 please

Midfield
Will Hughes
Josh Mceachran
Michael Mancienne
Bakary Sako

Could give these a go

Defence
Emilio Izaguirre
James Perch

So that's a few million quid spent - with that lot and our youth we should be a top ten Prem side

I would like to see a sprinkling of our yoof set up in the line up. Roberts, Dempele, Williams, O'Halleron and Evans look the part to me.

Thinks this might just be a year (at least) too early for most of the U18s. Don't forget we also have some very promising U21s - Grimmer, Richards, David, Plumain, Tankovic(if he stays), Christiansen, Passley (to name but some)

Give us Jordan Rhodes and we would be set.  We should have bought him 2 years ago.

From our youth I would include from under 21s

Jack Grimmer
Josh Passley
Lasse Vigen Christensen
Chris David
Cauley Woodrow
Maumer Tankovic
Moussa Dembele
Patrick Roberts

Craven Mad

                  Stockdale
Passley - Lascelles - Burn - Cresswell
             Lansbury - Sid
   Roberts -  Powell -  Richardson
                  Rhodes

Bench: Etheridge, Grimmer, Briggs, Tunni, Parker, Emmanuel-Thomas, Dembele

That'd be the start of a great team IMO. Of course there's many current first team-players not listed who could also be useful (Dejagah in particular).

Rhys Lightning 63

One guy I've rated for quite a while is Sean St Ledger
@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

Only 180 minutes of competitive football this year, 1 goal and 1 own-goal, plus he's 30 in December...

Any ideas what the story is - injury or just dropped?

I've always found Jeff hendrick a tidy player for Derby.

If they don't go up could be a good addition

Jack Fulham

McEachren from Chelsea on loan or even signing would be good. Plenty of experience at that level. I wonder if Nathaniel Chalobah is available as well, he played for Fulham until Chelsea signed him when he was 10 or 11. Central midfield is a area we need to improve upon and these two have a great amount of experience in championship.

Dropped behind that young lad wasn't he?

Played himself up for a move back to Preston a while back.

I would like Jordan Rhodes as I believe he is more achievable than mcormack also I wouldn't mind a couple players from celtic, kris commons maybe?

Black, White and Fred

Chris Brown from Doncaster. Scored 11 for a team that got relegated. Will be cheap and will get goals at championship level.

Why would Rhodes leave Blackburn for another Championship side. Granted that he has scored a bundle of goals in that league but there seems a total lack of Premiership teams showing an interest.

I'm still hoping that Mitroglou and Woodrow might do the business for us next season.

PaulJ123

why do people suddenly think we'll sign Rhodes/Mccormack and why would they join us???

If we were in the prem they wouldnt join because we wouldnt pay the fee they'll need but now we're in the championship everyone seems to think Rhodes will just jump across to another Championship side? Makes no sense.

For me: Lewis Grabban at Bournemouth...good age, release clause (3mil) and would probably join us as we should(!) do better than Bournemouth next season

What about Arthurworrey, great central defender?

valdeingruo

The one player I would want from that list you have there, if we were to pull out all stops to get is Will Hughes. He could be huge and we have been lacking a good midfield pairing since Murphy/Etuhu and Dembele/Diara. He has the experience in the Championship and could help feed our forwards.

Sorting out the defence is another thing we desperately need.

I don't get to pay too much attention to The Championship, but Liam Moore was well thought of not too long ago.

I'd love to see us get Cresswell. Hughes would be great also. Ings.

Can't see us getting Rhodes. Hopefully, Mitro is with us and shows his worth.
