Can I ask what was the problem with ground sharing with qpr? Ok admittedly it isnt ideal but the cottage was against fa regulations which meant it had to be upgraded in order to keep our place in the league. We spent 2 years at a local ground best suited to our needs (brentford too small and chelsea too big). After two years we had an all seater stadium which didnt really take away that much from our wonderful ground. It is still very charming and after the riverside is done, it will be our home for many years to come. I was a young teenager in those days and I quite liked playing there, of course it wasnt the same but I loved watching that team.

Ive had a season ticket for 16 years but back then I never got caught up in the other side of the club, football seemed much more fun just watching and not worrying.

Can someone explain what the big deal was?
