Article in the evening standard saying they think Mackintosh is next to go

I just read an article in the standard saying that they think Mackintosh is next to go because Khan is searching for the new manager  himself. Thoughts?

Looking at it with my head and not my heart (my heart is hoping he'll go!). Who, with all will in the world, knows how to run a football team? Ali Mac could literally be the best we can get. He's got the experience and the knowledge is takes to run, whats in effect, a very specialised business!!
Everything is difficult before it's easy!

Well that wouldn't good. Kit talking like he's already the permanent manager, Mackintosh on verge of the sack and Khan searching for a manager himself. Whoever appointed Jol, Meulensteen/Curbs/Wilkins, Magath and then signed Mitroglou in needs to be held accountable at some point but I don't know if now is time for another change or who made those decisions but as Kit said in his interview, we need stability and we've got rid Magath who sounds as though he was the real cancer of the club. If he was a Khan appointment rather than a Mackintosh appointment, it would probably explain his 'reign of terror' over the club that was also reported in the standard today.

If [Magath] was a Khan appointment rather than a Mackintosh appointment,...

News release of 14 Febrary 2014  "This week, Alistair recommended Felix, with his history of producing results for clubs with similar challenges as ours, as the new manager of Fulham. Alistair's recommendation received my complete approval."

AM would have pushed for KS quite strongly

Almost certainly true  -  after all, who else would/could have ?  I would prefer Kit's proposed 'stability' for a few months, not hasty actions we might regret.

Your going on assumptions of what and how Ali mac has performed.unless you work for Fulham on a daily basis you don't know what we're his influences or decisions.everyone is looking for someone to blame but be careful what you wish for as you never know he might well be who we don't want to lose. He has made enough serious errors of judgement over the past year alone to warrant a sacking!
