Thought we played well - let down by individual mistakes

Overall we were much the better team -- and lost 3-0 at home

Nothing wrong with the tactics or the way we were set up

Let down by stupid individual mistakes - Ruiz Staf Smith and Tunnicliffe were the main culprits - McCormack was pretty poor as well - we just don't have the full squad to compete in this league

Kit becoming an "unlucky" manager .... and that is really a dangerous feature at this stage of the season

H4usuallysitting

Leeds looked more organised than Fulham.......and more vitally they exploited our defence/midfield

Lighthouse

If Ross is out for a game or two it may be a blessing in disguise. He has been off the pace for some time and just looked shattered. Ruiz behind a proper front two may oddly work better.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

1 win in 13. He coaches them. He teaches them how to defend. It all stems down to the manager, and Kit hasn't organised the defence in 6 months of coaching.

Were the "what a waste of money" chants directed at Smith or RM? The hobble round to the tunnel via the Leeds contingent by the now injured big No.44 was a tad unfair on the fella. However the particular chant seemed out of synch with his departure.

Baszab

At least he had the guts to applaud them as he walked round the PE - - they were on the whole, a pretty foul bunch - but then they always have been

Apart from the fact that they were correct in their thoughtful analysis of RMcC - he is indeed "a waste of money"

Sorry, disagree.  Sure we looked threatening for the first 30 mins but never took our chances.  Once we went behind we were clueless.  Lack of discipline cost us again as did inability to defend set pieces.  This is basic training ground stuff.

I agree OP. If we took half our chances we would have battered them.

Unlucky Manager...Hillarious Post the best yet.
Talk about deluded, you would think we won 3-0...Doubt he will ever manage again once
he gets the bullet..

You watch the game? Call it luck or ineptitude we were rotten defensively a given but played really well up to the final shot. Hit the bar and the post. Admittatly we didn't work the keeper enough but we had soo many chances we should never have lost. Kit may be to blame for the defense but the finishing? No. Does he deserve credit for the chances we created? Or blame for the shots we missed? Let's be real, he will stay until th end of the season and then he will be offered a job at lower level or shown the door. If we play like today until the end of the season we will win more than we loose.

The OP is on about him being Unlucky Manager full time, not just last night.
You cant blame it on bad  luck all the time im afraid, thats just making excuses...

Kit absolutely has to go. Hoogland, Tunnicliffe and Parker as the midfield 3 behind Ruiz is not tactics, it's just like Magath and picking random players to fit some bizarre system that does not work.

Of course using the key statistic - score line -  it did't work but we created three times as many chances as Leeds, enough to score at least three goals and restricted Leeds to a few chances, almost all of which they took.

So tactically it is hard to criticise.

That said, those three don't inspire me.

I keep hearing this 'If we keep playing like we are we will win more than we lose'. Well, we just keep losing and will probably end up relegated.

Tactically we conceded 3. I imagine the lack of protection, width and the choice of proper defenders (Bodurov being by far the best defender we've had this season) as well as ill discipline played a part in this. We get slaughtered defensively every week. Thats 8 conceded in 2 home games. That is not tactical nouse.

snarks

A 442 system clearly does not work with this squad. Kits only mistake with the make up of the team last night was Hoogland.

Fulham had enough chances to have battered Leeds, even with 10 men, they were the better team. However it's all about the score and on that point (which is all that counts) it's a loss.

I am not saying Kit should go or Khan is useless as I don't agree with that point of view. But please God can the team learn how to defend a set piece.
