if he goes we can all blame kit, but it just maybe that he does not want to sign a new contract if his head is turned by his agent not much can be done about it.

From what I can see, no one has blamed Kit in this thread, the Club maybe, yes. Sometimes, I think the Kit in brigade are just as bad, because they poke they poke the Kit out brigade when quiet, just like here.

yes that was me, and i will be peed off if kit gets rid of hm. or did i miss something, is kit no longer the manager

Dembele is a goal scorer and he is going to be a premier league /championship striker of some class .The question is whether he will become a striker at the very top or not , He has the tools in my view ,but he needs to develop his game ,regarding link up play ,first touch ,running off the ball and attacking balls played into the box . The question really is how driven he is to improve .
I think we should hold on to him as he got noticeably stronger during the course of last season . His last appearance as sub was also superb ,during 15 minutes he hit the bar and caused the opposition all kind of problems (forget which home game it was ) . Then he failed to make the squad after that so i wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit disilusioned .

That cameo he made was great,  and then typical Symons kills the confidence by not picking him again.

Unexplainable . Does kit have issues with some players ? They must have had words and kit was making a point . Thats the only explanation I have .

and our wonderfull manager has said he will protect the kids even more this season.

I guess we all covet something. So owning a Ferrari may not be ideal for the school run and the weekly trips to Tesco's at this point in our lives.

yes lets sell our ferrari so kit can buy some more Lada's. that approach served us so well in the second half of the season

Been to Zero, I live overseas. So I don't see him every week in the U21s, but I could care less what he does in a U21 game if he isn't playing senior level.

They say "footballs a game of opinions" but if your going to make statements like this and then keep digging to try and get yourself out of a hole I suggest you give it bit more thought next time.

Of course he might be looking to move or raise the stakes in contract talk with his agent starting to stir things up and of course bigger clubs will look to exploit us.

Why would we need to sell otherwise?

Seems interest from Everton and other European Clubs. Wouldn't mind us unloading him. Never been too keen. Could probably catch a decent fee too.

maybe if you had a chance to watch him play especially in the U 21's you wouldn't make such a statement

I'm sceptical about extrapolating strong performances at the U-21 level to doing the same (on a consistent basis) at the Championship (let alone Premier League) level, as the jump has often proved to be too much of challenge.  The list in this country (and others as well) of 'can't miss' players who dazzled at youth level but underwhelmed at the senior level is long.

but you could say the same about any player joining the first team, whether it be from the academy or another championship team. time and time again, we have seen players who look good for one team absolutely flop when the join another. personally i have more faith in our youth than the players kit bought in last season.

I would like to see in the friendlies,Woodrow and Dembelle play together up front. As I would like to see LVC and Emerson in midfield together, not forgetting Roberts, who needs 1st team match time, just a thought, but thats what preseason should be used for. They all have potential.

We will have to try something like that in the friendlies, just so we know what we can do without McCormack. In case he get injured and has to miss some time during the season (hopefully not), it's better to have an idea who if Woodrow and Dembele work well together.
