I watched that useless Channel 5 football show last and did not notice if the Wednesday players were wearing arm bands for their former goalkeeper Ron Springett. Then I realised that the prog had not mentioned about Ron's passing and of a minutes appreciation before kick off. The club must have done so? If yes what a crass mistake by the useless prog not to mention a former member of the '66' squad.

The  whole programmes is useless. A long time ago I remember going into Ron  Springetts sports shop in Acton to buy a set of football shirts for our Cubs team. He had suffered with his eyesight and you could tell this from the way that he looked at things very closely. It was sad to see a former England goalkeeper suffering in this way.
