God they got guts and passion, and down to 10
Men,that point just might win them title.
Wish our lot had same passion for the shirt.

As regards refereeing today. Glad he sent off vardy - it was a dive and players need to be punished. West Ham penalty - it was a foul but these incidents happen every week and are not punished. Leicester city penalty was a poor decision.

Referee seems to have had another big influence on the game. As for Leicester showing great character. Yes indeed but a last minute penalty for that? Dear God this game I used to love is becoming a farce and a lottery as you never know what decisions a referee will make on any identical situation.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

thought ref had a stinker personally. Seen every angle and I don't see how anyone can say vardy dived. Huth should have had a pen too

They being taught it by the coaches Im afraid
Some managers go livid if their players dont go down when touched.
Even kids are doing it..Sad.

Personally thought Vardy initiated contact and swung his legs into the defender to create the "trip", and then the over-selling of the fall was ridiculous. It was a dive.

That last gasp penalty had to have been a make-up for the missed call for Huth's penalty shout. Can't see how he didn't call that penalty. Was looking right at it.

Poor match for the ref.

by your own admission he initiated a trip, so how can it be a dive. Don't think there is a rule about initiatimg a trip. It was never a pen but I'm sure that there is no basis for a yellow

I think the second yellow card to Vardy and both penalties were absolutely right. I still have doubts about that Huth incident though.

You're just playing with words here. He simulated, dove, play-acted to try and draw a penalty. He stuck his own leg, unnaturally mind you, into the defender's legs to try and sell the dive. He deserved the yellow IMO. And if the details of the verbal abuse he gave the ref afterward are true, he may be in for more than just a game. Big "if" tho.

it's not a play on words, how can it be a dive when the two players looked like they were playing drunken twister before they hit the ground.its a coming together all day long and can't be a yellow for diving. Now if there's another rule I don't know about then fine, but I don't see how it can come under the rules of diving.

Referee has to make a judgement regarding dives. Is the reaction proportionate to the contact. In this case it wasn't. Contact was slight and Vardys fall to the floor was way too Hollywood.

If every time there was contact and someone fell and the ref awarded a penalty it would be ridiculous.

did he book the Westham player As well, who also hit the deck in the incident with little contact as you call it? They were tangled together, the amount of contact is blatant for everyone to see, and it's huge. Now what I'm asking, does initiating contact come under diving as I was sure it didn't. And if it didn't then how can it be a yellow.

Isn't this the beauty of football and sport in general. It isn't an exact science. There are so many different opinions of what happens. This game is a perfect example. If every action had an exact conclusion it would be boring. God I love it! Someone in another thread mentioned the lottery. If supporting Fulham isn't a lottery I don't know what is. And I love it!

If W Ham got a penalty then so should Huth. Leicesters last minute penalty was the right decision. Vary didn't dive but it wasn't a penalty

For me it's the opposite. I fully expect Spurs to win all of their remaining games, meaning Leicester can only lose one of theirs, against tough opposition.

Leicester last game away at them down road.
No way will Chelsea want Spurs to win league.. :022:

The plot thickens. Turns out the ref is a spurs fan. You couldn't make it up, especially as the ref from tonight's stoke spurs game was dropped for being a Leicester fan.
