But at the same time I wouldn't complain if we showed extreme ambition and signed two strikers (Cyriac and Enrich for example) and let Woodrow leave on loan.

That's my worry as well. After last season it wouldn't have bothered me one bit, but the team has worked very well with Smith up front (unlike last season when we just pumped long balls to him) and when the ball is crossed into the box he has abilities few other players have. In short: A good option to have, especially on the bench.

Cyriac & Enrich named in their clubs squads today. Worrying if true as I was lead to believe at least one was supposed to be having a medical yesterday
