What made you vote for Matt Smith, Fulhamben and I were both going to vote for Matt, but Ben pursueded me to abstain with himself, and the P of Y should be exempt this season, based on the fact that nobody really deserved a mention, and based on the collective dissapointment of a mediocre system. But Matt was high on our list.
Disagree with you, there still should be player of the year, because even if the whole team was crap there will still always be one player that was better than all the rest, so on that basis he would deserve to be player of the year.

i voted for young moussa. It's pretty obvious that Ross was our best player, but I expect Ross to play like he did, due to his price tag and pedigree. But Young moussa played well above the expectations of pretty much everyone, so that's why he got my vote

Young Moussa - Player of the Season?!  Have you been watching the same games as most people? On second thoughts you don't go to many do you.

no not many only did 5 home and one away. I gave my reason for my vote and that's my opinion. Who did you vote for and why

While you may not think he was POTS he would be in top 3 or 4 at least of players who contributed the most during the year.

I'm still staggered by how little praise Dembele gets for his goals this year. Yes he has his faults but hey you could list a load that super untouchable Ross has.

cmg

I, too, voted for Dembele while fully expecting a Ross win.

The last 19 year old to get double figures in the Championship was Nicklas Bendtner when on loan to Birmingham. He got 11.
Since then Connor Wickham got 9, Harry Kane and Sean Murray 7, JET, Victor Moses, Wilfred Zaha and Demerai Gray 6. Dembele's tally, as we know, was 15.

snarks

I think moussa is a good call for player of the season. I'm sure Ross will win, but I take more from MJG's MOTM thread as an indicator for me, the top of those were the players who were consistent throughout this season.
