Nevland will need an injection in his toe but should be ok but Okaka will start. Beattie fee was agreed but Stoke delayed as they may have had another better deal. But Baeattie wanted to come and a medical and scan were arranged but that was not passed to the player by his agent. So Beattie was with Stoke at Sunderland instead of being in Darlington or wherever having completed a medical. By the time stuff was agreed it was just too late.

Elm played well and is looked on as a Zamora type player but they played very well together when Elm came on Saturday. Nobody was near Gera when he twisted hid knee. Still a good squad but we will have to stop making errors as they are punshed in the league. Shorey will start.
