Did we actually pay 4 mill for Kebano? Him and the other imports
were all poor yesterday.
I said in the window that we needed to sign players from this
Country who have experienced the hurly burly of this league. Some
of these foreign players cant handle it.imo
If it is true we paid such a sum for Kabano, Should we have been looking nearer home.
Reading picked up Calum Harriot from Charlton, a similar style, and he has done welll so far.

He hasnt really, Been used as more of an impact sub. I rate him though, Good player.

Kebano isnt really a winger. People forget this

that would explain why he can't cross
but he can't shoot either, so he can't be a striker
so what is he?
he's not a goalkeeper is he?

hes a CAM, plays in the position behind the striker

Have to agree with Ron91.Thats the line up that faced Newcastle almost, all bar Ayite. It served us well and was a reel team effort.

None of them are worth the money paid for them, they are all over priced, and couldnt tackle a boiled egg, or foul a footpath.

Haahahah how can you say this 9 games into the season when there adjusting to a completely new league and have literally only played 2/3 games, especially when players we bought domestically who know the league (McDonald) have started off worse this season

Bettinelli

Odoi Kalas Sigurdsson Malone

Tunnicliffe Johansen

Christensen Jozabed Piazon

Woodrow

Don't rate Woodrow at all, but at least he works hard.

i'm now 100% sure woodrow should never play as a striker again. not at this level, anyway. maybe sunday league but at any professional level he's about as useful up front as a chocolate fireguard.
i do however think he could perhaps be converted to a centre midfielder. admittedly we lacked his sort of energy and spirit yesterday

He's a striker, just a League 2 level one

MJG

I think sod it. Most want rid of passing football so lets just go 4-2-4

GK (Whoever can kick it the longest and straightest)

Kalas-Madl-Sigurdsson-Ream  (No defender to go anywhere near the GK when he has the ball...in fact run away as fast as they can. No sideways passing just kick long and central)

Tunnicliffe-Parker (If they dont come off pitch with a sore neck looking at ball fly over their heads then something not right)

Woodrow-Martin-Smith-Aluko (All to stay in last third and await the ball to arrive from on high)

I think that will work.

I would go for this team, it certainly couldn't do any worse surely.

I like this also, I'd go woodrow ahead of smith, but it still seems our best option currently. When is Ayite back?

For the last month too many senior players have underperformed and are being let off by SJ. At Forest we really have nothing to lose, so if like a few changes and chances given to others.

GK - Betinelli
RB - Tunnicliffe
CB - Kalas if fit, otherwise Madl
CB - Sigurdsson
LB - Sessegnon
DM - Parker
DM - Adeniran
RAM - Piazon
CAM - Aluko
LAM - Kebano
CF - Humphrys

There's pace and ability there, and I would guess there be a lot of pride and determination in being given a chance. If we go with the usual team then I'd see us getting beaten on Tuesday.

Humphrys won't play people. It'll either be Smith or Martin.

Feel that Cairney should be dropped for this game chuck Piazon in as impressed in the cup game

It is difficult after Saturday's performance to select a sensible looking team, changes have to be made but on the other hand we should be looking for stability. We don't want a repeat of recent seasons when some 40 odd players were used and we never had a recognised first team.

Will Parker be fit enough to play two games in 4 days, is Macdonald available, Martin has yet to show form but we have to give him a little more time, I think Malone is a safer bet at left back than the talented Sessegnon.  We need real pace on the flanks is Fredericks ready. Will we change tactics and formation or continue with a system that is failing to produce goals

I give up and eagerly await o see what Jocanovic is going to do.

snarks

Have the club appealed the red card with regard to McDonald then?

To be honest I can't see what Martin adds (hope I'm wrong).... I'd start with Smith and Cairney up front.....I'd use Cairney as a number 10........

I'd say Smith is our worst striker. I've said this many a time. Good option to have coming off the bench to lump it too but if hes starting something is very wrong.

He started most of the games we won, and was substituted around the 65th minute
