@jolslover

Bearing in mind its a cup game I would like to go with this team

Betts, Odoi Madl Sigurdsson Sessegnon, Parker Tunnicliffe Jozabed, LVC Woodrow Edun

Assuming Jozabed hasnt already gone on loan if he has then maybe stick in Humphrys and go 442.

Dont think we should waste any more time on lost causes. Tunnicliffe is no better than Adeniran and imo with Parker also on the books, Tunni should be shipped out.

Woodrow, waste of time. As is Smith so lets give Humphreys a go.

Jozabed has been here since August and still isnt settled. No time like the present then Jozabed, anytime now son.....loan him back to Spain. He's pointless if he isnt happy/ready for English football.

We also cant afford injuries to key players especially with the Martin situation and African cup. So lets play the kids.

Betts

Sess
Ream
Madl
Odoi

Parker
Adeniran

Edun
LVC
Williams

Humphreys

Give De la torre and Smith a run out off the bench.

Supporting Fulham isn't about winning, it's about belonging

No idea what Cardiff's lowest ever crowd is but I think this'll beat it by a margin.  Fair play to the Cottagers making the trip.

Does that mean it doesn't matter if we lose?

Quite like that line up Danny my only question would be is if Humphreys is struggling to step up to first team football where are the goals going to come from?

BestOfBrede

Id play our new signings to get them gelled...
New centre half, possible new keeper and all three new strikers!
Obviously any other new player too!

As there's a nice gap before the next league game I'd hope we'd pick a very strong team, take the FA seriously.
Stranger things have happened than a team playing at Wembley twice.

I was living in Iran and flew back for the Cup Final.
I went to Brum for the Chelsea game + Villa and Man Utd for our cup games.

Us supporters deserve to be treated with respect and a good Cup run would both lift the
team for a play off place and give US all a lift.
Nonsense to anyone who doesn't think the FA Cup is VERY SPECIAL

Also I would insist that Chris Martin plays, does his absolute best or face a huge fine.

VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

I agree with you up until the last paragraph, but I cannot see how that issue can be resolved with Chris Martin.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

The ball is in our court (for the next 6 months)
Unless we sign one or two good/better strikers he is the best hope we have for a top 6.
He is under contract MAKE HIM PLAY AND PERFORM

Well I'm going to Cardiff, their lowest crowd is 4000 odd since they moved from Ninian park. I hope it will beat it although who knows. I have to drive to Swindon to get a train that gets me there on time, or drive to Cardiff. I don't actually care what the team is to be honest but  I think if Smith is to play in the league for Fulham he needs match fitness so should be included.

I think we'll see a line up similar to the EFL Cup matches. Oh, and I will be really surprised if SJ picks Betts as he hasn't played him in any competitive match so far this season. I reckon Joronen will be in goal.

Which is weird isn't it? Why use your 3rd choice keeper rather than give your 2nd choice a good work out?

westcliff white

Personally I would not change too many players. My line up would be

Button, Odoi, Sig, Ream (if Kalas not fit), Malone, KMav, LVC, Cairney, Aluko, Sess, Smith (or Humprhies)

As I say not too many changes as I do believe we should go for the win and get the confidence flowing by getting good results.

Horsfield_No9

I would give K Mac, Johansen and Cairney all a day off. They can't play every game and are just so important to us now.
First game: Fulham 4 Burnley 0, December 12th 1998.
