Slaphead in Qatar

He got quite a few minutes to show what he is like today

He looked nippy and put himself about.   Promising.

So the exact opposite of the Derby snake

He must start on Tuesday & Martin sould not even be on the bench even if we don´t have a back up should Cyriac not last the full 90 mins or gets injured.

Did fine.  Certainly didn't look out of his depth.

I want to temper this a little, he is coming from a very average league, I've seen it having lived there for 3 years, I saw him play for Anderlecht too.

Don't expect miracles form the start, very few few players get a Pogrebniak start and if they do they then drop away, hopefully he can be consistent and contribute.
Every day is a Fulham day

He shows somthin martin will never ahow.desire and energy keep him in joka.

So what will happen if Martin is on the starting team sheet on Tuesday? Dysfunctional management, stupid plan from on high undermining the head coach, or just a collective cry of angst? Forest are on the floor at the moment so once again 'our' ambition will be tested right from the moment the starting eleven are known.

Baszab

Martin was pathetic and an embarrassment - hope he never plays again

We should'nt boo I know but what was the reception for Martin like . . . . . . . as he is being discussed in this thread.

It's a real opportunity to get back to back wins. We cannot and must not slip up.

Indeed but will Martin will part of the challenge or will the arm wrestling of who is in charge be resolved and he is out? To be honest I would rather Martin was left out and as somebody has pointed only players who want to be here figure on the team sheet.

Agree with everyone else

Only a small player but puts himself about, even for high balls, a bit like forestieri

Crucially he showed a good first touch and he can return a short pass

Very promising IMO

Must start over Martin on Tuesday

Agree entirely, he was full of enthusiasm but we need to see more of him to see if he can hold down the job.
Looking forward to seeing how he performs over 90 minutes on Tuesday. The problem is if after say 60 minutes he fades badly then what happens, Martin is not going to make an impact sub.

Bet you he starts against Forest.

Much better than Martin and I applaud Slav for taking him off as it clearly wasn't working. He's got a good leap on him and his movement is nice. Seems to already fit with our linkup play. Should start the Forest game but I'm not holding my breath.

I think Cyriac should start as well with Kebano on the bench.  I have been a supporter of Martin - in spite of everything - but I think he is too ponderous to fit in with our high tempo, quick touch play.  He does well enough once he is presented with a chance but he was AWOL today.  Cyriac is more aggressive, much hungrier and a lot quicker.
