I know this is a slow news period regarding transfers, but do we really need to keep scrolling through loads of meaningless conversations/petty disagreements which have nothing to do with transfer rumours or happenings?  fp.gif

Once again having trolled through pages of meaningless conversations and disputes. I am now trolling through pages criticising the meaningless conversations and disputes. Instead of talking about our actual transfers and the speculation thereof. Which has amounted to two reserves, one return loan and a bloke that went to Wimbledon tennis for a jolly. :016:

On second thoughts lets have the pointless conversions. Frankly that is all that seems to be happening.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Nothing openly in the media - but I am told there's a few bubbling away. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple in by Norwich.

wouldn't be surprised? I'd be extremely worried if we hadn't signed a couple by norwich

Why would you be worried? There would still be a month to go. McCormack was sold on August 4th 2016 just before our game against Newcastle and we played Tunnicliffe, Madl and Smith from the start and won when nobody expected us to.

Against Reading we had a starting team of:  Bettinelli, Fredericks, Ream, Kalas, Malone, McDonald, Johansen, Ayite, Cairney, Kebano, Aluko

Swap Malone for Odoi (he mainly played left back at Lokeren) and Madl for Kalas and we are fine for a game against a Norwich team who have also lost Jacob Murphy, Jonathan Howson and Dorrans and have only currently bought in Harrison Reed to replace them along a number of players who will need to bed in.  My point is, we aren't the only team in this position. Let's stop panicking.

I am not panicking but would be worried if we didn't have at least 2 in before Norwich, by the managers own words we have limited resources and Cairney came off injured at the weekend. While we have a talented group of youngsters we would be very lucky if they all turned out like Sess.

So in terms of that worried yes, think most would be. I f the Jerome stories are true will Norwich sell him to us before that game? very debateable, and we certainly need a forward and a centre back at the very least before that game. Happy for Betts or Button to start in that game but would also add a keeper to what we need as essential
Every day is a Fulham day

Of course it ain't true, other people are talking a load of sh** on here this morning so I thought I'd join in...lol

Mince n Tatties,

You have been advised before, that this is the silly season transfer thread, and to take things with a pinch of salt. If you do not agree with what is being posted in here, true or false, then please just pass it on by, rather than keep making a mockery out of it, or other members.

Thank you,

Friends of Fulham.

F(f)CUK

For the first time in a very long time my phone's monthly allowance has expired a full week before the end of the month.  This is primarily because I keep checking this thread in areas without WiFi.  How depressing is that?

Mince n Tatties

Don't see any message for the wind up merchants on here, who like to say black is white for the sake of it.
Good old FoF knock Mince down in front of all.
What was wrong with PM?
And after all my posts on here you still can't work out when I'm having a laugh...Hilarious.

Loan for Norwood being confirmed as we speak according to Sky Sports.

Some good backup options for that midfield now

MacDonald, Cisse
Cairney, Norwood
Johansen, ....

I reckon two decent signings here and we are done.

Good vid on type of player Norwood is. Good passer of the ball and got a good longshot/free kick on him. Saw a lot of him at Reading and hes a good player.

Get in Norwood and we have more than plenty coverage for the midfield.

Still need at least one striker, a centre back, and some coverage on fullbacks to be competitive imo.

Norwood is a good player, fantastic set piece taker as I recall.

Don't forget Edun / O' Riley for backups to midfield either.

Fairly good news if true. Also blessed in the wingers department in talent / depth.

So PLEASE Fulham - no more midfielders; spend the remaining budget on a CB, LB 1 or 2 quality strikers and maybe a GK!

Edun has played left back a bit as well - internally they think he's better than Sessegnon in that role. I think O'Riley too young to be viewed so we need one more - either a youngster or someone on the way down from premier league.

Don't forget Adeniran who looked promising especially against Orient
