Bogle would be worth getting in. Pacey & direct

A few on here wanted him when he was at Grimsby league 2, hasn't done anything when stepped up to Wigan...I'd hope we would want better than him in.

Omar Bogle and Max Power have been told they can leave Wigan. Bogle we've discussed at length but does anyone know much about Power? Would he be a good final backup in midfield? I imagine if he has one year left on his contract that he would be a pretty cheap option. 45 appearances last season.
I like the sound of this max power fella

Sounds like the latest Gillette razor.

Possibly we should get better than Bogle but Wigan are not Fulham he would score more goals playing for Fulham no doubt

Remember last season we had but one striker, Martin . With Kamara and Woodrow now available we are already in a better position for strikers, one more would be a luxury , two more would be a waste.

We have yet to find a replacement for Malone, surely that is our next priority.

Kamara (Aboubakar) hasn't acctuslly signed yet has he?
I was there, standing in the Putney end

It's all a question if he fits our system and the way we play; he was a real handful against us last season though.

Yes it's more important to find the player who will meld with your style of play. Look how the goa ratio for Vydra is hugely different between Watford and Derby. Same player. One style of play suits him the other does not. Think of Dwight York at Manchester United because that is the type of forward player we need.

Jimmy Hill

If the price is right I think Bogale would be worth a punt,

I am not sure some were talking as if he had , others were saying he had passed a medical  but there is nothing on the Ofal. It seemed all but certain yesterday now you start to think there may be a problem.

My source is away with his family this weekend bit has promised he will get an update every 3/4 hours and let me know if any bad news

The only reveal before the game, Kamara or no Kamara, injury problems or no injury problems. This squad is very disappointing. A week before the season starts and this is what we have managed to bring together after reaching the play offs.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

What is disappointing about it? It's not like they've got players injured on purpose so you cant use that as a reason for the squad being "disappointing" in your view. The only differences are no Malone who was useful but we've got our child prodigy playing there now, and no Martin, whom pretty much everyone on here berated for being useless/lazy/hindering to the team etc etc. The thing people overlook is that the squad has now had a year together, its not comparable to last season as they're not learning the system we play anymore, they're already well versed in their roles.

It is pretty much last season's squad. Considering several important members of that squad (Kalas, Sessegnon, Cairney and Piazon) were on loan or expected to leave, I think just keeping them is reasonably good.

I'd have liked a striker earlier but if we get someone in time for a few days' training before Norwich then you have to say that's good. We will have improved by virtue of that.

A few more squad players in August, maybe another striker, and IMO we will have had a tidy window in line with the best reasonable expectations.

Must agree, I would say it has been a reasonable window, and marginally better than last years. We have managed to keep the same squad from last year (for the most part), to include the loanees. Additions of Norwood, Cisse, Djalo, and hopefully Kamara (or another Striker) and perhaps another defender and I think we are in the business of challenging for promotion again.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Then I think you are wrong. To expect tus to reach the same heights as last season with no improvement to the squad is just not very likely. The same squad doesn't mean the same results because teamks now know how we play. I see a very poor season compared to what I hoped would happen with the squad needing just a little improvement up the spine but we have had no first teak players brought in at all.

Ordar

We absolutely need a Keeper, 2 center forwards and a left back.

Button, Betts and Woodrow are not good enough for a team looking for promotion. Sess is a winger, not a LB.

We're 1 week from the start of the season. We have a very difficult August, and we dont seem at all prepared

Fair play to you, think what you'd like, it doesn't bother me at all. Every single summer this forum implodes with how shite we've been, how awful we're going to be, and how - no matter how many player we do bring in - we need at least 1 more striker, 3 center backs, 2 left backs or right backs, and a solid defensive midfieler. The expectation management is absurd regardless of how little or how much business we do.

We needed three players up the spine. That is all we needed. But haven't brought in any. We knew we needed that improvement since January. The rest I have no idea what you are referring to. Still it is all about opinions and some fans may like to slag the team off but equally some will defend the management of the team even when it is clear mistakes are being made.
