Referee Protection

It's been pretty clear, for at least 2 season now, that teams are happy to kick us off the park, and the shocking standard of refereeing in this division just allow it to happen. I believe the only way to stop this is to publically out the club's frustrations, both in the media and to the referee at ever possible opportunity. The more it's publicised the better.

We're seen as a "nice" club, and the opposition on basically every occasion is allowed to get away with murder.

Put more pressure on. We can't compete against 12 men every week. Especially with the injuries caused by the constant fouling of our players with us allowed

This is what I was moaning about after the Reading game, in that the opposition seem to start out with the tactic of kicking us off the park with the ref doing absolutely nothing. This is no more than a continuation from last season and I said then the refs have got to get tough and start booking players from the first minute when they see this happening, Fat chance of that.

Agree,we need to put it out there press, all networking media including pfa,EFL everywhere the that could start putting officials under pressure.

As an x referee I'm constantly at odds with the standard.they seem untouchable and why should they be.After all there is no game without the players but officials ?

It's no coincidence that almost every week the stats show we commit less fouls than our opponents.

Despite all your efforts I can categorically assure you it will be ignore. The FA specialise in passing the buck.

Spot on.  The problem has long existed before we experience a referee's incompetence first hand, and it isn't altogether the fault of the officials, since player, coach and supporter reactions influence those who shouldn't be refereeing or managing a game, period.  My own remedy would be to have regular open house forums attended by referees, their managers, and club representatives where video evidence of inconsistency and plain incompetence can be discussed and solutions offered for the future.  I also don't believe it is just the outrageous fouls that need to called into question but also the operation of the 'advantage' law and the carding of players for similar tackles that have not been likewise sanctioned earlier in the same game.

I agree that Fulham may suffer because of the way the Club is perceived in the game and that is not what the rule book says should happen.

I thought that after every game a report was filed on the referee performance.I would love to see our reports & the response.
