The club signing unfit and injured players is a rather odd way of strengthening the team with immediate effect. Aren't there any fit and uninjured players left to recruit.

took Fredericks two seasons to get anywhere near match fitness for 90 mins. This is not about injury fitness.
Anyway just what I was told and you can either take it on good faith or think he's loving crap, which clearly most of you do.

Soares so far appears to fit the same flipping crap image of the other flipping crap players signed in recent times, who have failed to nail down a regular place.
I have more faith in our Academy players, rather than these bizarre imports.

This invisible man Soares who never starts for the first team, despite being told by misguided people he is the next best thing since sliced bread, is now becoming a Soare point with me.

Almost every time we sign a player we are told here by those who like to think they are in the know that we have made a spectacularly good signing and are told all about the player.  Soares is one example and I seem to recall that Fonte's arrival was also hailed by some on this board as a breakthrough. Other than a few clips on YouTube I wonder where these people get their information for it is abundently clear that they haven't got a clue what they are talking about. I had decided not to be following the endless transfer speculation during the summer as so much it was based on speculation rather than any real knowledge, but was told it was the lifeblood of the board and I should stay with it.  I think I'll stick to my original opinion in future.

Exactly,  how can anyone in their right mind play a player at left back, which is clearly not his best position, play him there, after he scored a hatrick 4 days earlier in his best position, especially as there is possibly other alternatives, and if the aren't, why aren't there.

His defensive qualities are no better than Sess, so, why bring him in, to do a job, that is already being done, as best as it can, by one of our own players?

If Sess needs pushing up, then, the most obvious answer is to bring in Odoi, who, I can categorically say now, is a better defender than Soares.

For me, it was another pants buy, and, if anyone was going to at least challenge Sess to that position, then it had to be better than Soares, sorry.

Even if Soares has supposed fitness (stamina) issues, at least as a specialist LB (the only one we have), I'd still be keen to see him start for 60 mins (freeing up Sess to plat further forward) and taking him off when tired. At least it would be a chance to see what he's got and if its enough for this league. Hopefully gives our team a better balance that has been missing since Malone went.

It's been a disappointing situation so far; I hope he gets - and takes - the opportunity to prove his pedigree. If he does then everyone's a winner.

A classic example of the way this club is run by the Khans, and there has been a pattern of this kind of incompetence ever since they walked through the door.
If Soares isnt fit to start now, when will he be, you couldn't make it up, and because Jok appears to be deliberately overlooking and ignoring some players, then there appears to be a divide. Some are not his choice. Why is that, and if so, why is there a divide or a fracture.
Why did Kline orchestrate such a scene when he was stripped of his rank and sent back home.
That didn't just occur all of a sudden, that had been festering for quite a while.
It appears not to be a happy camp.
Why has there been complete and total silence since then. Far too many unanswered questions we may never know the answers.
Clearly the people who do know the facts have been sworn to silence.
That may or may not be the best policy, but what it does signify is that it's a major issue and goes far deeper than they care to admit.

I think Jokanovic is quite brutal when it comes to selecting players. He seems to write off players without us fans seeing barely a minute of them.

I guess they aren't impressing him in training, but when we were struggling during October, that was surely the time to give the likes of Soares, Graham and Mollo a chance.

On TV last week I watched Soares play for the U23 s against Southampton
It is true that he had Jordan Graham in front of him on the left wing and Jordan was man of the match, but I did not notice Soares get involved at all, especially with wing runs.
Very disappointing with the build up he got when he arrived.
Despite his performance I do not think that Jordan would be an improvement on any of our other wingers due to his style.
