We sure are

Looking it up it seems that Elijah McCoy, a Canadian, invented both the ironing board and the lawn sprinkler.
Others tried to copy his designs but none were as good, prompting people to say "I'd rather have the real McCoy"

Not to be confused with Kilroy who's never been to a Fulham game, hence there being no grafiti on JH Stand
saying he had.
