I know it's irritating with the numbers floating around Prem football these past few weeks.. but i suppose the reality is that haggling (and hence dragging out transfers..) saves millions of pounds..

I would still sleep easier if Mitro put pen to paper though!

Name after name on this thread but still we have not replaced the loan players that have gone missing and only three weeks until the big KO.
Is the Chairman aware that we are performing in a manner that could make us relegation favourites before the season starts and a relegation certainty by Christmas.

Oh dear that is a bit hard, but we really should have done a lot more by now.

The chairman plays no part in our transfer business.

The window is not over. The season hasn't started. If you rush, you end up with Greg Cunningham.

So.. Everton's new £50m forward scored 5 goals last season?

Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Fenerbahce are all interested in signing Yannick Bolasie. Everton are not actively looking to sell him, but they are willing to listen to offers from other clubs. (Source: Liverpool Echo)

With the Richarlison news you'd expect him to go further down the pecking order. Would be more realistic than Cavaleiro or Malcom. Think I saw they'd take 15m for him. Get Kebano to get in his ear. Plus the potential to move back down to London.

I've been in the championship for too long. I haven't got a clue who he is

Richarlison got 5 goals and 8 assists across last season, which as a 20 year old winger in your first season in the premier league is decent IMO. He also came straight from playing in the Brazilian league and playing regularly for the Brazil U20 national team (which meant no summer break) to start for Watford last September, so was naturally knackered come the second half of the season so his performance got worse. £50 mill is far too much money, but the player they're getting looks very promising.

Malcom contributed to 19 of Bordeaux's 56 goals last season and is 21 and costs 10£m less.

Part of the fee will be down to Watford being very reluctant to sell to Marco Silva/Everton after what happened last season. I'm surprised they've not point blank refused to, even at that price.

Everton sack Koeman, want Silva, Silva asks to go, Watford say no, Watford's form goes off a cliff with them eventually sacking Silva after so clearly having his head turned. This also coincided with Richarlison's form going off said cliff and I'm pretty sure he even did interviews/Instagram posts complaining about the decision to sack Silva (https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/richarlison-explains-outburst-marco-silva-sacking/).

GJB

You're right General, he looks like someone who can finish and set up others as well as being a quick, skillful dribbler, which is a combination wingers don't always have - I would be very happy with a front three of Mitrovic, Sessegnon and Malcom, with Cairney and Seri as suppliers, but I'm worried Roma will use the money they got from Alisson to secure this player and he'd likely choose a Champions League club over Fulham

'Celta Vigo's Sergi Gomez gaining interest. Toulouse willing to bid €5m for the centre back but @Estadio_ED say Fulham have now entered the race. Good ball playing centre back with a capable passing range.'

Deeping_white

Interested in Sergi Gomez of Celta Vigo allegedly, and he's apparently available for €5m which is ridiculously cheap as he's a very good ball playing Spanish centre half who came through Barcelona's academy;

Who cares? Stoke will have Wigan and Rotherham to contend with instead

Alfie Mawson is a 22 year old 6ft 2in English Centre Back. Who has represented England at U21 level.

Not in the U21's any more - he is 24 and Southgate showed no sign of wanting him to take him to Russia

If he is so good why did the Swans get relegated last season and at the moment no one wants to pay their asking price

Exactly the same could have been said about Harry Maguire 12 months ago when he was relegated with Hull. Look at him now.
