It's Bleacher Report, but Dean is also a Fulham fan so even though he's a journo, he tends to not tweet about Fulham stuff unless it's bang on and he's usually as accurate as the things he tweets so I tend to take his word.

Yeah but he's never mentioned the specifics, plus as I understand it from a few people, the Mitro deal is indeed done. In the end Newcastle caved as they want Rondon but they don't have £16m for him so dealt with us so they could buy someone and keep Rafa happy.

Mitro deal held up over the fee. Newcastle wanted £20m, we offered £15m, then £18m and now just matched the £20m they wanted. All done. Happy days!

Don't have a problem with how we've handled the Mitrovic stuff. Think it's 3 weeks today since Serbia went out, so it's not like he'd have been deep into a Pre-Season with us. No issue with us trying to haggle in the mean time given Newcastle have to sell to buy because of Ashley.
