According to bbc this morning we have bid 26 mill for Jose.
I have just seen that.

I don't think it's "according to BBC" though. It's on the gossips page and it merely quotes The Sun.

Also Palace looking at Mitro now.
Funny in a sort of way he goes and lines up against us first game after all this carry on.
Now that's Fulhamish.....😵

This is old news - had been repeated several times since the last season
It could be better, but it's not a fantasy:

Everything is old news; just wish we had new news.

How inept are we at transfer negotiations?  Its like we've employed Gil from the Simpsons to be in charge of transfers...

How do you know we're inept? This is something that always crops up, but I'm intrigued as to why it's always FFC that are allegedly at fault according to some, when there are at least three parties involved in any transfer? Bearing in mind the number of incomings and outgoings in the last two years, we can't be that negotiating else we'd have never signed anyone...

There are 15 big days coming up for Fulham FC before the Transfer Window closes.
After it has closed. Hire a Master Window Cleaner round to polish it, and then look through it, and tell me what you see.

Very cryptic and it fills me with hope (foolish hope perhaps, but hope nevertheless)

Lets be honest... No one actually knows what is going on with transfers to FFC apart from the recruitment team. We just need to be patient and wait for some news. I guess 2 weeks is quite a long time in the world of transfer windows so there is still a long way to go.

Two weeks to get about five players in as a minimum.  For a side who has just been promoted that is absolute lunacy.

Are we geared up to handle signings at that rate, medicals, paper work, etc.

Ordar

I'm delighted that we're constantly being linked with a much higher quality of player than I was expecting, (and I'm super excited for Seri), we seem to be struggling with getting the deals over the line.

Its been said by several current and former players, that Joka's system takes a while to learn and get used to. We probably need 4 first team starters at the very minimum (CB,LB,RW,ST) all of who need to learn their roles in the system. It worrys me that we're more than likely going to have a slow start to the season again. I would suggest that a least 3 of those positions need signing this week to at least have a proper week of training in the new system. And even then, our squad is incredibly thin, we cant be relying on unproven youth players to carry us to January, especially with how inexperienced our current players are with Premier League football.

jelmo

I guess if we get one in today (Fabri), then its 4 in 2 weeks which doesnt sounds quite so bad. Feel as though we need a starting RB though. Not sure having our back up rightback from the championship being a starter in the Premiership is a great idea! So maybe we need 6 minimum.

Mitro,
Fabri
Another backup Striker,
Starting RB
Starting RW
CB

Hmm... Maybe it is lunacy to leave this so late....

How do you know that the Recruitment team know any more than we do. They could still be on their summer holidays. What makes you think they know any more than anyone else.
We have no choice but to be patient, there is no other option.
I hope this Recruitment Team remember, when the Transfer Window is closed and bolted on the inside with security locks.

I hope someone has fixed the fax machine.

I would think the Mitro deal is agreed and just waiting to be signed.
Press speculation throw up all sorts of alternatives otherwise there would be no football 'news'!!
With us needing at least 2 players for every position I wouldn't think it implausible that Jose is a target as well as Mitro, just think one replacing the other as sub, would unnerve many a defence.
A lot of these deals I should think will have been being negotiated for awhile and I am confident that Slav will have a team to challenge for top 10 come the season.

I make it five in addition to Fabri.

CB
LB
Another mid
A wide right player
Striker.

That is the bare minimum.
