It would be a great shame if Betts left - I've never bought into the view that he is not up to standard for the PL. For me, he is a fantastic shot stopper and a great communicator, he is very determined and loves the club - yes, he could improve at some things but I'd much rather have him starting than Fabri to be honest. You know exactly what youre getting from Betts and he is pretty comfortable with playing out from the back and, as has been said he was part of a club record unbeaten run. After watching a fair bit of pre-season, Fabri leaves me feeling nervous!

I'm all for upgrading but I think Betts is one who deserved his chance to show what he can do at Prem level.

But where oh where are we linked to a striker ...... if Mitro gets injured  ( even with the ever improving Kamara )we are going to be powder puff up front

Been saying this for about a fortnight now.  Fonte is no backup plan in my opinion.

Last years goals came from everywhere, that's our style of play. Also don't forget we have Sess and Schurrle

I'd be particularly upset if Betts left due to Sergio Rico coming in.

The Sevilla fans seem pretty split on him. Sevilla did concede a fair few goals last season and conceded 4 or more on 6 occasions in the league.

I haven't done enough digging to see if Rico was in the side for all those games, but it doesn't paint a pretty a picture.

We still need a replacement for if Mitrovic is injured or hits a bad patch. There is no-one at all to fill the void. I'm a fan of Kamara but he is a completely different type of player and would not be a fit replacement as a number 9.

Fulham look like they're going to be busy on Transfer Deadline Day, which is very exciting. Personally, I'm happy with left-back Joe Bryan signing from Bristol City for £6m. Southampton clearly wanted too much money for Matty Targett, and it seems like Fulham weren't going to be pressured into paying top whack for him.

I think a left-back was the only signing we desperately needed, but it looks like Fulham won't rest there. I've seen rumours for Luciano Vietto, Martín Montoya and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa doing the rounds. All of those would be incredible coups and if they came off, this would surely be our best transfer window ever.

Simply because he's one of our own I'd be genuinely upset if Bettinelli leaves. He's not the complete keeper by any stretch of the imagination but he's earned the right last season to be a no. 2 Prem keeper.

We shall see...
Never ever bloody anything ever.

I agree, I hope Marcus stays, he deserves to start the season, but if that's not possible, he should be No.2 at least.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but if Target wanted to join us would he not have put a transfer request in?

I know there are signing on fee's etc which could be overcome.

One thing for certain, shooting training will be a lot tougher with decent goalkeepers. Betts is still young for a GK, so a year trying to push himself and improve would not do him any harm by staying at Fulham. A prem team needs 3 quality keepers.

Not happy if we sell Betts.I would perhaps allow him to go on loan except to the Hahas.
